Cindi B.:  Boy, I sure would love to see pics of your cabins in the Maine woods.  I've often tried to picture them and the surrounding area.  I love forested areas which is partly what brought us to Oregon. 

Good luck with your mom's paperwork.  Hope you can "see" it via a scan of the document and help her with whatever it is she needs.

Glad you got your hair cut and a perm.  It always feels good to do something like that for yourself, doesn't it?

I log into my Mom's computer remotely and she places the document on the scanner.  I do the rest and then read it.

I do hope your new home in Texas brings you as much peace and comfort as your Maine cabins have all these years.

Cindi, they're gorgeous. When I was young, I once talked about buying a bar/restaurant/home on a lake with a couple of cabins to rent out. There actually was one available to buy, but of course I was a impoverished young reporter then and didn't have a dime saved. So here I am ... still can't afford to do it. Oh well.

Cindi B's place in Maine is beautiful!  You should look it up.  I know she will do a great job on her new place in Beaumont, TX.  She already made so much progress on it before she left for Maine a couple of months ago.  She's not afraid to tackle anything!  She's my hero!

It is not my daughter's restaurant...she is the Manager. However, she & the owner have lived together the past few years so that is how they refer to it. My daughter has been involved w/the owner & the restaurant since it opened. (I know...NOT a good business move on either of their parts!)

It started out to be like a health food restaurant...lots of veggie dishes, smoothies & healthy selections for breakfast & lunch. They opened for dinner this year & have a more varied menu.

Hi, Twink!  I had the same luck on my last colonoscopy!  The dr. was able to check most of the colon but not all and I have to go back within 3 years to have another.  The dr. office said that they would make a note in my chart that the cleanse did not work thoroughly so they could do something different for the next procedure.  (Oh, joy!)

I hope your colonoscopy goes without a hitch.

Hi, everyone.  Well, hubby took some pics of our deck and the view from our deck and I'm going to try to get them posted on here as soon as he gets them to me.  We'll see how well I can follow instructions!

Saw my PCP today.  It was a disappointing visit.  She was hesitant to add any meds and instead wants to wean me off my anxiety med as she said that she cannot combine other anxiety meds with that one.  I asked her to please give me something for sleep and she said not now.  She said I'm already on a lot of meds to help with sleep.  She has ordered a referral for a sleep study.  I did O****il she told me I was a strong individual and then I started crying.  Oh, well.  Upward and onward, right?  I have to follow her instructions and see what happens -- but I was definitely hoping for a different result this morning.

The sun is shining and it's beautiful out -- but just a bit muggy.

Good Evening Everyone,

I am sorry I'm so late.  I had a weird night too.  I kept getting up and eating.  It happens occasionally.  It hadn't happened in a while, till last night.

I had therapy this morning, and I was really able to give him a quick background to my childhood, and then discuss what's going on with Mom.

Then, I went to watch the kids, and take Izzy to piano lesson.  Her piano teacher has two different cats, and they each had litters of kittens.  One was 8 weeks old.  The other was only 2 weeks old.  Tiny things can't even walk.  The kids got to see them eat, and then the boys went and played with the 8 week olds while Izzy had her lesson.  Trent was late getting home from work, because of an accident that sounded serious.

Vickie, I love your ideas for the curtains.  If I sent you fabric, and my window measurements, could you make valences for my windows.  I have blinds on all of them, and have room darkening curtains to hang in my bedroom, but am stumped on my other rooms.  My sewing machine hates me right now.  I would gladly pay you.

Sorry everyone is having issues with colonoscopies.  I honestly can't remember when my last one was.  Better find out.
