Julia,

I am so glad they found what was wrong.  There are so many things that can go wrong with us immediately after and years post op.  That's why I tell everyone who has pain to go to your surgeon.  You will be well soon.

Thanks Jeanne. My surgeon was in SF and has not been working due to an injury. I think I need to find one close by that I can talk to....the one I got was not good for the bedside basics. I was kind of stuck with him late at night with few options. I hate that feeling. I think my next job is to do some research. I was one that stuck my head in the sand....this was not RNY related in my mind. But it certainly was..... What I'm struggling with now is that I am perfectly willing to do what I need to do to get well, liquid diet and all, but I would prefer a doctor that will look at me as eight years post op, 61, not trying to lose fifty pounds as rapidly as possible, but to get well and stay healthy.

I to am back to basics. I on the ther hand is that my stoma is stretched and has to be made smaller. I'm looking at a revision. I wouldn't do it but I'm having sever dumping and I have to have the nutrition to aid with the Addisons.

Hang in there Julia both of us can do this together.

I'm hoping I can lose another twenty or so pounds, but my main goal is feeling healthy.
