Wednesday - Midway Thru The Week.........
Hi, I lived in Clearwater St. Petersburg area in FL for the longest time. Originally from CT. Port St. Lucie is on the east coast of FL. Moved here a few months ago. We are just south of Ft. Pierce, and just north of Stuart. North of West Palm Beach. It's a smaller area. It's more calm here, the traffic in the Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete area keeps getting worse and worse. I used to hate driving after a while. The 2 counties that make up Tampa St. Pete have over 2 million in population.
Hello Arlene...you aren't any older then I am...I turned 66 in July...I told you I was the oldest one here!!! LOL!!!!!! I just pretend it isn't real!! Most people think I am much younger then I am. I love that!!!
I agree....oh how I miss that honeymoon WLS time!! I am not doing everything I should be either!! I wish I could give up sugar...I LOVE DARK CHOCOLATE!!!! I only buy a little at a time when I go grocery shopping. Sometimes I can make it two weeks but not real often!! I switched to Tootsie Pop's. I can suck on those now and then. That satisfies me. I love the tootsie roll middle!! I know..I am bad!!
I am so sorry you fell and hurt yourself. You will look like a raccoon after that one. I hope the pain wasn't too bad. You shouldn't worry about your pride. You are hardly the first person to do that!!
Have a good night...love and hugs to you....connie d
Connie, I am a chocoholic. If I started on dark chocolate, I would never ever stop. I eat protein bars which contain sugar, but not chocolate or ice cream. I don't want to gain the weight back. I am only a year out. I know of 3 people from our doctor's office who had the sleeve within 3 weeks of each other. One lady lost all but fifty pounds, another woman lost all but thirty pounds, and I lost all but thirty pounds. Sad thing is I never had a weight problem till I started taking Lexapro. Then I balooned out.
Good afternoon Mary and Everyone.....
This is my third try.....I keep watching posts disappear. This is my last time trying!!!
Mary....no offense....I hope Jim gets with it and gets things done.Tell him to pull up his big boy panties and quit wasting everyones time. God Bless you Mary!! You are such a nice and kind person.
I hope you can meet with that dietician. They always have so many good and healthy recipes.
I hope you got your mail gone through. Not a fun job but worth getting it over with!!I hope you found the forms you need.
As for me... I am doing nothing today. I was feeling better earlier. Now I feeling weak and shaky. I'm on the couch and this is where I will stay! My cleaning fairy was here and as always, she did a great job! It smells so clean and fresh in here.
I love to color. I color Mandelas (SP?). I have a friend that was always on here but is now mostly on Facebook. Nancy has a site and you can get them from her. They are amazing!! I have the lovely "fan" ones I am doing now. They were from another friend. I love fans and these are so pretty. I need to get a printer so I can print some of Nancy's. First I want to finish these fans. Mary you should get some they are so relaxing to do.
That is about it for me...nap time!!
Prayers for all our beautiful OFF Family and their families.
Lots of love and hugs to everyone...connie d
Carla - Sorry to hear that you've been admitted to the hospital - but good that you're going to be taken care of.
I tell you, if I had better health insurance, I would have gone to the ER myself today -- felt like someone took a 2x4 and smacked me across my chest. I was in agony. I have to confess last night I ate myself sick and felt miserable - but I was fine when I woke up this morning, until about 9:00 when all of a sudden I felt horrible. If I go to ER, it's $150, and if I get admitted, it's $600!!! Meanwhile, people who never worked a day in their life get free health care - no co-pays or deductibles. Gets me really mad sometimes. So, I finally figured it out - it was gas. It got better when I started moving around - but for two hours or so M.I.S.E.R.Y!!
