Good Evening Trish and OFF-
Trish I'm delighted to read that you think this therapist is a good fit. I know how important it is to find the right one. So I am proud of you for reaching out to us, staying calm and seeking help. That's the important part.
Thank you to everyone for responding to my despair yesterday. I was shocked to see what the scale read and I really took a dive mood wise. Much better today and have renewed energy to reduce intake and avoid carbs at all costs.
Judy I am not offended by the food porn that you post on FB in the least. I have many friends who post recipes and I have shared some myself because they look good. I do recall the first months after my surgery that I could no****ch Food Network because the recipes made me head hungry. Thank you for your offer of support.
Connie, Kathy and Judy sorry that you're in pain. Tomorrow I go for my chiropractic adjustment and I know that it's due because the backaches are more frequent.
Well today was the trip to drop the car off for the body work repair. Everything went smoothly and painlessly. The loaner car is good but a little low for my tastes. Lots of deep knee bends getting out of the car for the next few days.
I'll get the car back on Thursday and Friday I'm going to drive to Vermont to visit my cousin. Haven't seen her in almost a year and not since a pipe burst in her house while she was gone. The house got contaminated with mold and they had to gut several rooms back to the studs due to the mold. She had to live in a hotel for almost 6 months.
Ran errands while in Bangor today. Stopped at Joann's to get a crochet hook. Ended up buying little plastic tiara's for my water fitness students to wear. I'm anxious to get back to Texas now and get back into the pool for exercise. Jeannie I look forward to reading what you write about walking. I enjoy walking but both knees need to be replaced so I don't do a lot of dry land walking. I have signed up to walk in a 5K in December in Galveston. I'll have to go into training when I get back to Texas.
So again positive thoughts and prayers going out to all of you in need. Thank you again to all of you for responding to my despair yesterday. Getting it out there has helped and the notes helped the most. I'm on much sounder ground today.

Thank you for the support you offered those of us experiencing regain. It felt really good to see those encouraging posts and read the words of acceptance. Now, if I could just be that kind to myself!
I have a nasty headache tonight. So does hubby. I think the on-going deck construction is wearing us down. Fortunately, the contractor thinks he'll be done this week. Then, we wait for the flooring contractor to come and put some flooring in by the new glass slider. Had the slider measured for window coverings today (so that is done). Tomorrow, after a therapy appointment we are going to stop by the local locksmith to see what he has to offer in the way of an extra lock to put on the slider to prevent the sliding portion from being lifted out by someone who might want to break in. Things are moving in the right direction!
I guess I'll lay back down on the heating pad to try to take some of the headache tension out of my neck.
Hope you all have a nice, relaxing evening.
