I did it, thanks to Vickie.
Colleen is a reading teacher, as well as professor. Every summer, Schuler's bookstore, here in Michigan, has a reading program. The kids keep a reading log, and when it's full, the store give the kids "money" to buy a book.
Lincoln is on the left, and he's going into first grade. Izzy, is going into third. Frankie is three.
Thanks Vickie.

Yes, Cindy, they stole my heart time minute I first held each of them in my arms. I was warned that would happen when Colleen was first pregnant with Izzy, and I didn't believe it. I was changed the minute I held Izzy.
In fact, all their cousins, on Dad's side, are also absolutely adorable. Trent's Mom has 14 grandkids, and they're all adorable. Plus, one is a redhead. It's amazing.

Connie,
I'm a proud grandma. School doesn't start here till the day after Labor Day. That's Michigan law here for public schools.
Colleen has the kids read each day. Izzy has been devouring The Pony Pals series, about girls who are like detectives, and solve mysteries with the help of their horses. I wonder if Gracie reads them. Lincoln likes some nonfiction books Colleen and I get from Usborne books. They're sold at parties, like Tupperware, and they are awesome.
Love you.

Thanks Judy. Colleen actually insisted on seeing Trent's pics from when he was a baby and as a child. She wanted to make sure their kids would be cute. I cracked up when I learned that. He was cute, and so was she, and my sons, but I am biased of course.

Vickie,
Of course I agree. They are also beautiful kids on the inside.
