Travel day

Good morning sistas!

Taking a 5 minute (well, all right, 10 minute) break from packing.  I'll be leaving before noon.  Hopefully within the next hour if I hustle.  It sure is HOT today.  I hope I don't melt!  LOL!

Actually, I'm really dreading this trip and I've already been crying in anticipation of it.  I don't want to go to Nacogdoches at all.  I don't want to go to the other lake house.  Too many memories.  It's going to be a long day of driving and crying, I can tell.

Carrie will be driving in tomorrow.  On Friday we are going to look at, price, and hopefully order a headstone.  I have no idea what they cost, but I know they are expensive.

I saw this pretty picture on FB yesterday and I thought of y'all: my sisters!  I just wanted to share it.  Then I have to hop off.  Love you all!

Mary I agree with your brother talk to the chaplain.  At least then you have a sympathetic ear.  Continue to talk with your brother too.  And talk to us, you're not alone.

Found a broken support beam on my deck when I was swimming the other night.  So now another repair to oversee.  Already called my handyman to see what it's going to cost.  Oh well it's only money....

When are you having that conference call with the people that might be interested in buying your property. 

Enjoy the cool lake today!! It is only 60 degrees here again today. Humidity is 89...UGH. I had my windows open about an hour and had to close everything up again.

Handyman called today and the repair will not be too expensive about $300.

Talked with prospective buyer yesterday.  They have a camp in the area that they want to get rid of because of a wind farm that is going in.  I'm not optomistic about this buyer.  They also have a sick relative in NJ so I'm thinking I'll have a Maine cabin next summer to come visit when the heat gets too much for me in Texas.

Just heard from my neighbor that while scouting raspberries today on the ATV trail she spotted a naked man manipulating himself.  OMG  I'm not hiking on that trail!  so you don't have to worry about me feeding the bears.

Hi Cindi....$300 isn't too bad for replacing a beam. I am glad he can do it for you.

You be careful walking in those woods....good grief men are such pigs!!! Glad the bears will be okay!! 

Oh well if those people don't make an offer there will be someone else when the time is right!!You love the lake in the summer anyway.

All fixed this afternoon for $175.

I think my neighbor was really rattled by the encounter, don't think she'll be hiking along to look for raspberries for a while.

I'm not worrying about the cabins anymore.  I have to finish packing and get back to Texas.

Good morning Vickie.....

I am praying you have a safe trip today to Nacogdoches. I know this will be a hard trip for you to make. I am praying and praying for you!!

I hope you find a headstone you like. They vary in price depending on the stone, the size, all you want written on them and how embellished you want it. I will be keeping you in my thoughts. My nephew worked in a shop and he always got our stones at a good discount. He passed away a few years ago from cancer. He was my half sister's son. He found out he had cancer and a couple months later he passed away at 48yrs. old.

I love you my sister...what a pretty post you shared. Thank you!! I love the flowers!   

Don't forget to that some deep breathes today and get in all the water you can. I wouldn't want you dehydrating.

I am concerned about Mary...no further information on Jim. I am praying all is working out for Jim. This must really be a burden for Mary. Bless her heart. Still sending prayers for both of them.

Been praying for Judy and hope the news she receives is good news. I know she has been worried sick over this! She should be in her procedure now. I am sure she will update somewhere along the way!!

Vickie needs all our prayers, swinging chickens, good vibes or whatever. This will be a difficult day for her. 

Jeannie I hope you are not buried under paperwork and books. We don't want to lose you. Christine your new picture on Facebook is amazing. You look great and at least 10 years younger!!

Eileen....I hope all is going well for you. The weather here has been a awful...lots of storms and high winds. I hope your pain is better today.

Kathy...I hope you are enjoying that wonderful pool...I sure would be!!

Okay...now my brain just lost all memory...CRS....love you all!

As for me..... I am trying not to whine today. I am sure you are all sick of it!

My cleaning fairy is here. She is just putting the laundry in the washers. She sure does hustle around!!

I don't have anything anything else planned. I will just do whatever I am in the mood for. I kind of feel like coloring today. I get that urge every now and then.
