Hey Vic,

I teach crochet classes at Joans a couple times a year too.  I've also taught a couple of sewing classes (I teach how to make casserole carriers and I also teach  how to make rag dolls).  Anyway, my guys that I teach are so much fun.  I've known them for years and 1 of the guys is my gay boyfriend who takes dance with me.   But our crochet group is such a club and a social event but I do a lot of teaching.  We have a blast.

Vic, I also sewed all my grandchildren's baby clothes, diapers, towels, etc.  My grandkids have such allergies (like nana) so I made them cloth diapers out of 100 percent cotton with pretty water proof covers and the pads inside were made from hemp or bamboo.  My granddaughter had such horrible allergies that she developed he boils on her little butt and thighs from the disposable diapers and we tried every single brand before I just said, hell, let's make them for her too.  My son's kids used cloth diapers too but his wife, preferred disposable, so I bought tons of disposable diapers for their three kids.   Anyway, if you've never thought about the cloth diapers, google cloth diapers, covers, and inserts and you will be surprised at how cute and healthy they are for not only the baby but the environment.  Also, I made my daughter these really cute little carrier totes to carry the used diapers home...and I made her baby wipes.  The solution was pretty easy to make too and I just filled a spray bottle that she carried around.

I love sewing for my granddaughter....I know you will get your sewing corner fixed all up.

Good afternoon everyone.....

We had a bad storm go through here last night. No one heard it but me!! A lot of rain, wind, thunder and lightening. It was really loud!!

I had so much fun with Carrie and the kids. I wish they could have stayed longer. They left about an hour ago. We played games and worked together on a puzzle. There was a lot of laughing going on!!!

Praying for our amazing OFF Family and their families.

I am in a lot of pain so I won't be answering each of the posts. My hands hurt so bad. I have typed about all I can for now.

I love you all....have a good evening...love and hugs...connie d

So just a good night note.  I made some progress in the house today. I got my big Monet hung in the dining room.  It is so big and heavy!  Takes two people to hang it.  Also got my big mirror hung, 2 more framed prints, and some of my blue and white antique plates.  It's starting to look liked my house now.

Plus Carrie helped me get those the big wardrobe boxes moved out to the garage.  Glory be!  I can almost see my bedroom floor! LOL!

Oh and I finally got to uncrate my big cushions for my outdoor furniture.  Oh my they were so squished down!  But now after a few hours they have sprung back into shape and they fit my outdoor furniture perfectly.  I am really excited to get started in my sewing now. So first thing tomorrow morning I start organizing my sewing corner. I am on a roll.

Night night all!
