Can't Sleep Friday . . .
Good morning Cindy....I slept fitfully myself. I am having strange dreams. Some are very scary too. I am soooo tired but sleep alludes me. I hope I can manage a nap later today.
I think you will really love your deck once it it competed. One of my homes had a beautiful wrap around deck It covered the complete back of our house and wrapped around to the master bedroom and the kitchen. I practically lived on that deck!!
Not being able to go to garage sales is the one thing I miss about not having my car anymore. I love digging through other peoples things and finding things I treasure. I have to remember that I am sorting and purging my apartment and don't need anything more treasures!!!

Afternoon OFF family...I am MAD AS HELL right now!!! Why?? Bank called me and said my check deposit made bounced!!! WTF???? That was our PAY CHECKS!!!!!!!! I got on the phone to the office and was very upset over our pay checks bouncing!!!!!! Was told new checks would be over nighted to us asap!!!!! I told them if ANY of my checks I wrote to pay bills come back NSF THEY were paying the fees!!!!!!!!! They do not know WHY our pay checks bounced!!! I AM LIVID!!!!!!!!
Also guy that was supposed to sign lease called late last night said he changed his mind...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Tried ALL week to get ahold of him...now I know why it took this long for him to get back to me!!! GRRRRRRRRR
OK need to go back to work.........

Hello Judy...I am sorry you got the NSF at the bank. Yes...I would make your company pay for overdrafts. That company scares me. They just don't seem real stable to me. I HOPE THAT NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!!
All the work you did for that guy and now he changes his mind and doesn't rent the apartment..OMGosh....people are so inconsiderate.

Had another guy come look at apartment today and he is filling out app and hope he passes background check...Took Chase ALL DAM DAY in the 2 bedroom yet!!!!! Rick about killed him!!! WTH takes him so dam long????????????? And when I showed that apt...its STILL not done!!!!!!! I am LIVID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about a night to drink!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!

Judy.....you have to keep checking on that Chase....give him stricter time limits. As long as you do nothing but yell at him he won't change. Let him know you are writing him up for every time he fails to complete his work on time. Three write ups and he is gone. Tell him you are also looking for a replacement. He is not making you and Rick look good if you have no control over him. Trust me I was in management for many years. Keep strong!!! He knows the longer he can drag things out the more money he can receive. He needs to be followed up on every hour if necessary.
Seriously he has had enough warnings. Time to seriously look for someone else.....good luck

Judy, that happened once to me in Louisiana ... they had to cut me a check in the office because someone screwed up at corporate and didn't get my check in. I don't think that's what happened to you. But at least they're overnighting the checks. Hope you get them right away tomorrow and can get them in before anything bounces.

I hope you are all doing well...I'm rushing in and saying hi and trying to remember how every one is so I can take note.
Cindy, Bbecause of my allergies, I have to take a Benadryl every night and that pretty much knocks me out. Connie, I hope you get your pain under control or at least where it is manageable. Eileen, you too. I know how hard it is living with pain and luckily for me, my doctors are generous with pain medications so that I have the milder loratabs for controlling pain but when the pain becomes unbearable, I have some really strong meds that I only use when I cannot stand it any longer.
Judy, how can your company write you a hot check? OMG...if I were you, I'd make sure they understand that this better not happen again. Many years ago, before the accident that forced me to leave nursing, I worked for a hospital (huge hospital) that had a very evil administrator and all of our checks bounced, which meant for me, a single mother, I ended up with bounced check fees all over town. I had to get an attorney to force the hospital to pay those fees and that was before 1000 dollar instant coverage from my account....now I could survive for a minute if I had no savings but then, 1 buck over and I was nailed with a fee and if the check wasn't covered quickly, they sent it back...well you know how that went over.
Vic, I hope your day is getting better. A few years ago, my son and DIL moved in with us and my son was easy to get a long with, but his wife was nuts. I tried every thing to make it work and finally I just said buck it...and I lived my life so that I was happy and didn't walk on egg shells for her. I suspect it isn't that bad with your mother but it can be so trying when your every thought is critiqued...even without that person doing the critique knowing what you are thinking. I wish I had advice to give you but all I can say is get out of the house as much as possible until you can learn to live with your mother all over again. Isn't it strange that we marry and over the first few years, we get this relationship with our spouses that can be filled with conversations or with quiet...there can be laughter and tears and movies and music and nothing...absolutely nothing...but then we cannot exist like that with any other human being. Even our own children are subject to getting on our nerves. I hope your mom learns to exists quietly with you...
For the rest of you, ladies, if you are getting out tonight, have a blast and if you are staying in, get a good movie going and have a glass of wine....I am going for the staying in but without the wine.

Cindy I hope you got some sleep eventually. Like everyone else I've used benadryl. Some people I know use Melatonin but I can't because I take antidepressents. Sometimes when I can't sleep I try my Yoga relaxation exercises.
Trish hope you enjoyed the trip to the Zoo. I love zoos and have had the opportunity to see many of them thanks to my Dad's career. My favorite Zoo is the San Diego Zoo. I was born in the Naval Hospital next to the Zoo.
Eileen glad the back is better and that they aren't concerned about osteoarthritis developing. My back went out a few years ago and it took a while to come back. I do find that my back is at it's best when I do my water fitness classes.
Judy I agree with JoW save your notices if you get hit with insufficient funds due to your employers checks bouncing. You don't need that stress.
Carla hope you have safely arrived in Colorado to visit your friends.
Today was town run day. I took two bags of clothes to Salvation Army. Two boxes of boxes to the used book store. I now have a $60 credit at the store but will probably give it to the friend who helped me stage the house for the realtor. Our Walmart is re-modeling so it's chaotic to find things at the store. I need more wrapping paper but think I'm going to have to go elsewhere to get it, Walmart didn't have any today.
My right foot is bothering me and I'm worrying about a stress fracture. When I stand it hurts like crazy and walking is difficult. Guess I'm going to have to go to the Podiatrist if it doesn't improve over the weekend.
So tomorrow it's the loft for packing while the weather is cool. Should be able to get it all boxed up tomorrow and then it will be just the first floor that needs packing.
As I'm typing this a float plane just landed on the lake. There is a guy who flies up every Friday and leave Sunday night or Monday morning. He must have gotten a new engine cuz it was much quieter today.

Good news! I have a new apartment. The woman from Cross Lake, where I had a deposit in, said they had a 2-bedroom, 2-bath large unit opening on the ground floor ... we have it for Sept. 15. And it faces the lake. Bonus! Finally something good. 
All we need to do is get Gary over there to fill out the application and show his social security info and we'll be good to go. And they have all my info, plus the court doc that says I satisfied the eviction payment. So excited!
