Can't Sleep Friday . . .
Hi, everyone. Gosh, I can't sleep. Can't turn my mind OFF! We're having a deck built and I'm wondering if the stress of that is contributing to my issues right now.
What do you have planned for the day?
We need to have a garage sale but neither hubby or I feel like getting ready for that so it won't happen for a while. As long as we get it together for early September, we'll be OK though. Still lots of tourists around at that time.
Hope you're all getting some good rest right now. This is how I feel: Ha Ha.

Good Morning Cindy, and OFF,
I recommend Benadryl to help you sleep. It's the main ingredient in OTC sleep meds, like Sominex. It helps me when I'm having trouble.
I am going to the Detroit Zoo with Colleen and the Munchkins today. I am so excited. I love visiting different zoos. I've been to Philadelphia, of course, countless times as a teacher and Mom. Cincinnati Zoo had a huge Komodo Dragon when I went there. Plus, an interesting insectarium. Pittsburgh Zoo is awesome. And of course, Potter Park Zoo, here in Lansing.
Better scoot. Must jump in the shower, and get dressed.
Hugs,
Trish

Trish, I LOVE zoos too. One of the few good memories I have of my father is that he would take my brother and I to the San Francisco zoo after my parents divorced. When I was an infant he had worked there with the elephants. They would remember him during our visits there. It seems magical to me now. Anyway, enjoy the Detroit Zoo today.
I will ask our pharmacist if I can take Benadryl. I'm on a lot of different meds plus I've developed high blood pressure.

Hello Trish...I swear I wrote you a reply...off in space somewhere I guess!!
I take Benadryl sometimes at night too. My bariatric doctor and MD okayed it. I used to need it every night. Now I use it ever now and then. It does make a difference in how I sleep.
Have a great time at the ZOO!! I love going to the ZOO. I love animals and wish I wasn't so allergic to them. When I go to a ZOO I really have to load up on my allergy meds. I know the kids will have a great time....all kids love the ZOO...young and old!!
Our Minnesota Zoo is really nice. We have another in the Minneapolis/St Paul named Como Park Zoo. That is much smaller but a really fun place to visit. There is a Conservatory that is pretty cool too.
Have extra good fun...love and hugs...connie d
Hi Cindy and my OFF family:
I slept well last night but still feel tired. I was up early because I had an appointment at the ortho doc. Well, his PA ... the one who works on my back. Fortunately, my neck looks good. Some arthritis but the spine is clear. I had worried that something had happened there after the attack. She said that sometimes getting jarred like that is like whiplash and it takes a while to recover. We did schedule another shot for my back, which also has been bothering me. After the appointment, I stopped at Target for a few things, then came home. Too tired for much of anything else. Going to have some lunch and then take a nap before lunch.
I feel better than yesterday ... no headache at least. So I'll go back to work tonight. Have a good day.
Hello Eileen....I am still worrying about your fatigue. When did you see your Chiropractor for an adjustment? I still think you need to see your medical doctor!! Are you anemic?
Have a good rest of the day...love and hugs...connie d
P.S. I am glad your headache is gone. I hope you have a good nap before work.
Maybe it is your thyroid....I think it is your Fibro too. I am fatigued like that most all the time. All my counts are good and meds are adjusted to where they need to be. For me, not enough fresh air doesn't help. I need to be out in the sun!! I hope the second injection helps your back.
Saw my chiro last Tuesday. My bloodwork was fine for iron. The PA for my ortho doc seemed to think my thyroid is still adjusting to the med ... she said it can take up to 3 months and then they have to test again to see if it works.
I'm concerned about my fatigue too. I've never been this tired before where caffeine doesn't work.
