It's Thursday! What's up????
Hi Eileen,
I was sad to see Cole go. He came up from the minors with Utley, Rollins and Howard. But, with his trade, and Papelbon's trade, my son said we got 5 of the top 100 prospects out there. That sounds promising. We've been waiting for them to rebuild from the bottom. Ruben Amaro has screwed the team up long enough.
Hugs,
Trish

Good morning Carla and everyone....Carla I wish so much that my body was able to do all the things you do. I am alive but it is certainly not living. I just live through all of you here on OFF.
Have a great time going here and there!!! Especially September for your Vinnie's birthday!!
Have a great day! I am glad your new Keurig has arrived. I have always wanted one. It would be perfect for me. Maybe one day I won't have to spend my money on medical crap!! Then I could get one!
You better get started on building that Ark soon!!
As for me....I got up this morning and made breakfast for my precious little Gracie. She sure has grown!! She is up to my shoulders now...how did that happen! We had such a wonderful and cuddly time reading in bed last night. I am going to miss that. I cry thinking about tomorrow when she leaves again. She is with her Aunt Aja and Uncle Matt. They picked her up about 10:30. They will have fun at the splash pad. Aja and Matt have a little girl, Vada. She is about a year old. Just a sweetie. Gracie adores her!!! She will be entertaining Vada all day! Vada has a huge sandbox and they will be playing in that!! They are going out for pizza tonight with other family members. Gracie will be back here sometime tomorrow morning. Jamie, Megan and Nic will be here tomorrow about 1:00. They are staying for a few hours and then off they go again!!
I am not doing anything else today. This flare up just doesn't want to let go. I will definitely be taking a nap today. I have been fighting that all week.
Prayers for our amazing OFF Family and their families.
Special prayers for Vickie as she travels to Waco. Praying all is going well with Judy. I haven't heard a word!! Anyone else hear from her?? I hope that means she is having a wonderful time off!
I need to grab some lunch. I forgot I have an inspection sometime between 1:00 and 3:00 today. I already told the person doing the inspection that the door will be open. I will be on the couch. What a life!!!
Loads of love and bunches of hugs...you all mean so much to me....connie d
Good Evening Carla and OFF-
All the travel preparation by Carla, Kathy, Jeannie and Vickie is making me tired. Of course that's because I am in a big travel prep.
This week has been busy for me but nothing related to the packing process. I've had my yearly GYN check and the chiropracter on Tuesday. Last night I went to a "Paint Out" at a local cafe. It's one of those things where they talk you through painting a picture. We painted birch trees, a lake and mountains. I had trouble with the event. I'm always going ahead of the teacher and that make me frustrated when I find out I should have waited. Anyway, I'll have a picture to hang in the laundry room in Texas or leave behind to cover bare walls here in Maine.
Today it was the webcast for the Lump Sum Pension Buyout Program that former employer is offering. The webcast lasted 90 minutes for presentation and then 45 minutes of questions. I have lots of things to consider and I'm involving my tax person and my financial advisor. We have until September 25 to get all the paperwork in if we chose to take the offer. They'll cut the "check" on November 2 if you take the offer.
So after that 2.5 hours I went up the road to play Mah Jong with the ladies. I was a sub for someone who is out of town. It was a nice break but I'm also glad I made the decision to not participate regularly.
I also scheduled my annual followup with my WLS surgeon. Not looking forward to this appointment due to my weight regain. I do however have a month to shed some pounds but I'll get a lecture no matter what. I am not a success story at the moment, I'm in the wrong part of the bell shaped curve.
Connie sorry your fibro is giving you fits. Eileen IBS is the pits. Happy to read that you were able to sell some stuff. Where I am in Maine it's hard to sell things as it is an impoverished area. Vickie enjoy your time with Carrie. I'm enjoying the gardening pictures you are posting on Facebook, they're giving me ideas. Hope the tooth settles down. I have to have a crown re-done when I get back to Texas. It hasn't been right since they set it in place.
Well, that's all from Maine today ladies. Hope everyone else is doing well if not you are in my thoughts.
