Wednesday Lots to Do
HELLO VICKIE....you are so sweet!! I used to really be the fun one with everyone. Not so anymore. Thanks anyway!!!
I am sorry your dentist appointment lasted 3 hours...WOW! The dentist should have been aware of your disease. It had to be in your records. I am sure glad that is over and I know you are too!!!
If you feel the need to cry you just let those tears roll. I am sure everyone there understood why you were crying. God Bless you my precious sister!!!
Have a good evening.....and a great time with Carrie buying things for PITA PIPER!!!
Love you more...hugs...connie d
Hi Trish and my OFF family:
I have been busy the past two days. Yesterday, I was visiting with my best friend Rox (we were college and post-college roomies) and her daughter (my goddaughter) Erin. They came in Monday night after a kayaking competition/training week in North Carolina. Erin is quite good and is on a fast-track for Junior Olympics. She turns 14 on Aug. 10. Rox had her kids late. Her oldest, Cody, starts college in the fall. Erin is such a sweetie. The two of them helped me take some books to the book exchange, then take most of them back to the car and we drove to Goodwill (book exchange only takes 2011 and newer) to donate the rest. They also moved two of my bookcases into my bedroom so when my brother gets here, we can move things around better to get the couch in where he wants it. He'll be surprised that things have been moved when he comes down this weekend. It was good seeing them ... we went shopping (well, they shopped, I sat and played solitaire on my tablet) and then we went out for beer and pizza. Then we came home and watched a couple of movies. "St. Vincent" was one of them and it was very funny. I recommend it.
So today I dragged myself to the Y even though I was tired and I'm glad I went. After, I went to the Fedex center to pick up this package they've been trying to deliver to me but I haven't been home. It was way out there ... I used my GPS. When I got there, they said the package wasn't there. Well, I called their call center and asked if I could pick it up; the guy said he'd make a note of it. So anyway, after about 10 minutes of standing there, the person at the desk said she would make a note of it that I would pick it up at the Green River site, which is in town. Much better. OK, so I go to my chiropractor, get adjusted; get gas; remember I have to pick up my vacuum cleaner that I had to get fixed, so I go get that. Come home and I start laundry. Someone knocks on the door ... yup, it's Fedex with my package. Well, at least I got it.
Trish, I'm glad I have siblings (well, brothers) who communicate with me. My sister is another matter. I agree you have a right to be ticked off.
Connie, sorry you have been in pain and not able to enjoy your visit with Gracie as much.
Jeannie, I am envious of your trips. Loved Galveston, or what I saw of it a couple of years ago. We also went up to Houston to the Space Center.
Can't remember everyone else. Hope all is good. Have a good day. I'm going to veg for now, do laundry and watch baseball for the rest of the day.
HELLO EILEEN....I am soon happy your friend and goddaughter were visiting for a couple days. It sounds like you had a great time together. I am glad they got your books where they needed to be!!
I forgot that Gary was coming back this weekend. That is great!! Any news on any of the other apartments???
It is good that you finally got your package...good grief!! I hope your vacuum works as good as new now!!
Have a good evening...love you...hugs....connie d
