Let's Talk Tuesday
Lightswitch and OFF-
Hope the trip to Little Rock was ok and that you got everything answered by the doctors. Galveston, Galveston! My neck of the woods during the winter. Lots of stuff to do in the area. There is a wonderful place called Moody Gardens on Galveston that has parrots, monkeys, etc... There is also a beachside amusement area. You can also go to an IMAX movie about the the Hurricane that flattened Galveston. You are also close to the San Jacinto Monument and the battleship Texas. There's also the ferry to Bolivar where there is an old fort and lighthouse. From there you can also go to Anahuac NWR where I volunteers. Lots of wading birds and alligators.
Trish- Hope the pain in your foot is just being on your feet too much. Colleen is lucky to have you there for help with the kids.
Vickie- love the little bookcase you put together. Also like the babies room that Carrie pinned. The ring is beautiful. One day at a time my friend. Okay to go someplace and sit in cry if you don't feel that you have the privacy to mourn.
I was at Mardens a surplus salvage place today buying fabric for baby quilts. I agree the fabrics give new Mom's leeway to go many ways color wise. $200 later I have fabric to make at least 6 baby quilts. Maybe one day I'll get ahead of the curve and have them done and stored in advance. Don't know how much sewing I'll get done before the move but I'll have the fabric stored away.
Today was my trip to town. Had to see the GYN for my annual lets inspect your vagina trip. Then I had lunch with a friend. Then in the afternoon I went to the chiropracter for my monthly adjustment.
We had wicked thunder and lightning early this morning. Driving north to town I thought we weren't ever going to see the sun but by the time I came out of the GYN the sun was out and it was getting steamy finally some summer weather.
Connie hope you had a wonderful outing with Grace to the movie's today. Judy hope the wedding was great without drama.
That's all from Maine ladies. Thoughts to all the need them.
