Happy Hump Day!
Hello Cindi....so sorry your mom has a bruised up face, thigh and eye. I am just glad she didn't break anything! I hope the ankle support helps her with the pain. I am still praying for her every day.
You did a great job on that shed!! I swear you could eat on that floor!!
Okay...what is a Gee Gaw???
I can't imagine doing all the things you do....repairing a screen....I am such a girly girl. Oh well guess that was my choice....LOL!! Like I said before I can't stand my hands dirty!!
I had a horrible flare up again at about 3:15 PM. Everything everywhere hurt. Just that fast! The shooting pain and muscle spams were horrible. I took Vicodin and Flexeril and laid down. My cleaning fairy was afraid to leave me. She told me I looked gray!! I told her I will be okay. This just happens.
A couple hours later it left about as fast as it came. All my energy was completely zapped. I feel so weak. I am going to bed shortly. I just wanted to check here first! I hate this damn disease!!
I love my cleaning fairy but to be honest I would rather not have pain and work....good health really is everything. I am missing out on a whole portion of my life. It makes me so sad.
Love you much....have a good night....hugs....connie d
Hi Christine and my OFF family:
I had an idea to get some of this mess out of my living room but I don't think it'll happen today. I was out all day. Just got home at 3:30 p.m. First it was the Y for my water exercise class, then I had to check out this one apartment (just the exterior) on the other side of town, then I had to mail a package back, then I had to go drop off an application for the other apartment, in between I got really hungry and stopped for lunch at this Mexican restaurant I like that recently moved to a new location. Oh, my, they really fixed it up a lot. It was so nice. Of course, I didn't fini**** all and took my guacamole with me ... and dropped it on the sidewalk in front of the place. So I went back in and asked for another one (it was almost a full guac anyway) and they gave that to me. I don't think I'll need to eat much tonight at all. I'm so full.
So yesterday afternoon, I called this one apartment, Cross Lake, back and told the woman there I had my paper showing my eviction had been settled. She said then they had a two-bedroom, two-bath large unit available. I gave her my debit card for $150 ... and after all that, she said, "Oh, it's upstairs." Grrrr .... I thought she remembered who I was when I called. So after all that, they didn't have a place for us but now I'm on the list for the first place they get open and $200 down on the deposit.
The other place I looked at the outside might work too ... it's 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, but the rent is less. Of course, we pay all utilities there. I get to see that place on Saturday. The woman was surprised when I told her I was 60 and my brother was going to be 63. She thought I sounded younger. I told I don't have any wild parties anymore.
Then I had to drop off my vacuum cleaner to get it fixed because the stupid handyman used it to clean up drywall and broke it. The bill will go to my landlord. And then home. I'm tired. Baseball tonight!
Vickie, I'm glad you're so happy about the baby. It will give you something to plan for. "One child born and the world to carry on ..."
Connie, I need my cleaning fairy here but can't afford her right now.
Hope everyone has a good day. Take care.
Hello Eileen....you managed to get to the Y....that is great!
I am glad you got to get on that list for a two bedroom apartment at the place you liked so well. Maybe you will like the one you are looking at Saturday. Sending good thoughts your way!!
I am glad you are sending your vacuum cleaner repair bill to your landlord. Was he crazy? You can't clean up that kind of mess with a regular vacuum....even I know that!
Enjoy watching your ball games!!
Love and hugs and prayers.....connie d
