Trish sorry you are having issues with your Mom and a POA, etc... I can relate to a certain extent. I have a brother who doesn't do anything to help with Mom. Last fall we updated all of her legal documents at my request. The lawyer actually took her in the other room and verified that I wasn't cooercing (sp) to do the changes that were made. So at least I have everything up to date. My brother never asks about any of the legal stuff. It's very frustrating I know when a sibling doesn't agree.
Kathy sorry you didn't get to the beach. Your area is getting the heat and a beach day would have been nice.
Connie happy that Grace is coming to visit you. I'm sure you both will enjoy the visit. It's cool here but the humidity is very high. Packing boxes today resulted in me being drenched in sweat.
Eileen how is the finger? Sorry that you awoke with a headache. The pool will help with the aches except for that headache. I am missing the pool in Texas and the lake is simply too cold to get into it. Plus silly me, left all my swimsuits in Texas.
So more packing today. The smaller cabin is essentially packed up. Tool shed is half done. It's rainy here so I haven't been able to finish the tool shed. The challenge is trying to keep everything neat in case the house is shown. The realtor said he has a couple from NJ who are interested in seeing the cabins. I think it will be sometime in the next week or so.
Vickie I know things are rocky in many ways. Don't worry about all those boxes they will dwindle over time. Strangely enough I found two boxes in the tool shed that I had never unpacked in 13 years of being here. Take one room at a time and one box at a time. It will eventually all fall into place. Sorry about all those emails I read about yesterday. Not fun having to catch up on all that especially tax liens and medical bills. Just one day at a time my friend.
So that's it for me today. I know that I have left someone out but mea culpea!

Hello Cindi......this high humidity is a pain for everyone. It wears us down and makes us miserable. I feel bad that you have to be packing in that weather. I hope you are drinking plenty of water.
I keep praying that the right people will come along and buy those cabins. That would make things much better for you. One less think to think about.
