You've been through a lot the past month. I think you must feel relief, not that you won't miss Butch. You grieve in your own way. And then rest. Glad to hear from you.

Good Evening Vickie,

I'm glad you know you will be okay.  I knew you'd get through the visitation and funeral okay.  My concern always has been the physical and emotional exhaustion that has built up over the past year.  My friends who have lost loved ones to cancer, as you have, always said that once their loved one was gone, there was a sense of relief.  Plus, it seems that they actually started grieving during the treatment and hospice care, not as I have, where my loved ones died suddenly, and unexpectedly.
