It is Monday....just popping in to say hi..

Hello everyone...checking in and decided to start a post.

I am so happy Vickie is taking her break from everything!! I wish her a safe and restful getaway!! I love you Vickie!! Prayers on the way.  

As for me...not much..feeling a lot less nauseous today. I am so happy about that!!

Lots of storms coming and going this day. Some are looking pretty bad. It was bad here last night but nothing compared to further north or west of me. North was Brainard International Raceway that really got slammed.  They have to be up and running in a month for finals. West in the ALexandria area was really hit hard too. Tornadoes in both areas. What a mess!!! They keep saying today will be really bad. I hope it misses us!! It just keeps getting darker here!!

I need to get out and take a slow walk today. I will be checking in with everyone later.

Prayers for our loving OFF Family and their families. Sending special prayers as requested.

Hi Connie and my OFF family:

We have storms predicted here, too, which explains my headache this morning. Feeling all achy, too. Heard my alarm go off and shut it off and went back to sleep. Tired and wanted to sleep all day, but have to work, so I got up.

Last night was relatively calm except the Cardinals' game went into extra innings so we were a little late. Tonight's my Friday and since it's the All-Star break, we won't have any late stuff (I hope!).

Glad you're feeling better, Connie. Take it easy and stay safe. 

It's hot here, 90 degrees and very humid. Staying as cool as possible until I have to go out.

Hello Eileen....I am sorry you are having a headache...I think the weather has something to do with that. Achy is definitely the weather/Fibromyalgia thing!!

I hope your night tonight isn't a long one. You need to get home and rest so you quit aching so bad!

Yes ...please be very careful out in those high temps and humidity. People over heat pretty easily on days like this. Keep your water jug full!!!

I am glad to be over that sick stomach. That was terrible!! I am kind of weak today but I know that will get better with more rest!

Hi Connie and Eileen...

OMG it IS a Monday from HELL here!!!!!!! Trying to do a couple applications for an apartment...corporate changes things over the weekend!!!!!! Do they TELL anyone?? NOOOOOO So anyhow PC freezes up...one application gets in there TWICE!!!! GRRRRRR I can't get one of them out......no big deal but still....then I get to the background check... Another CHANGE that was made over the weekend!!!!! I called for help...OK got one done...said other one should go through fine...OK Thanks!! Tried the next one...WRONG!!!!!!!!!! Same problem!!!!! Call back for HELP AGAIN...he is on another call. OK have him call me back ASAP. Wait for over an hour. Call back...OH I FORGOT TO TELL HIM... ok he gets on the phone fixes it again...goes through...my boss calls and says TAKE THEM!! OK...Now...they are not married so here comes ANOTHER problem.....I can't do the dam lease because of yet ANOTHER CHANGE!!!!!!!! WTH ARE THEY DOING????????????  SO now I have to wait til tomorrow for MORE HELP!!!!!!

Weather here.....BIG Storms went around us!!!!!!!! Now for the NEXT go round....SUN came out...Not sure WHAT will happen here now!!!!! NOT looking forward to ANY storms at all!!!!!

Time to go play my games and get lost in another world!!!!!!!

Judy...I am so sorry. I don't know what kind of company you work for. They should have sent you notice of changes to be made and when they will be making them. They sure don't know how to run an organized business. All the crap you go through because of someone else's ignorance is just amazing. I would be finding out who dropped the ball again!! Threaten to leave if you have too!! I would be so upset too!!!!!

Weather is weird here too. It got really dark and then about an hour later the sun was out again. It is now just starting to get dark outside again. CRAZY!!! Keep safe...you never know what is around the corner!!

YOU do need a vacation...a long vacation! SO do I!!!!

Evening Connie and OFF,

Today, after getting Mom her meds, and sitting with her for a little while, I went to see my old therapist.  I needed to talk to him about Mom, my sister, and my friend, Ruth, who died in February.  My sister and I need to sit down with Mom to make a more permanent game plan, so I can go back to where I am sane.  

In the meantime, I had to call the nursing home where my aunt, with dementia, lives.  Mom is her medical power of attorney, and they didn't know she was here, so I had to give them my number, and my sister's.  I also called my shrink here to see if he'll take Mom as a patient.  He treated my brother, Kathy's husband, and my nephew, Neil, in addition to me.  He's familiar with our family, coz I started seeing him in 1990.

Tonight, I'm going to a painting class at the church I attended here.  Kathy is going too.  I'm looking forward hanging out, doing some art stuff.

Tomorrow I have a ton of phone calls to make for Mom.  Going to try to get her medical records transferred here.  Fun.

Hello Trish...I hope you can get everything worked out with your mom. I know it isn't easy!

I am happy you saw your Therapist and hopefully he will see your mom. It sounds like he has seen other family members as well.

I am praying for you, your sisters and your mom. I so want you to get  your mom settled so you can get back to your life. It isn't healthy for you to be running back and into a crisis all the time. I worry about you.

I hope you enjoyed your painting class tonight. It is nice to know you are finding things for you to do with your sister. 

Hope all the calls go smoothly and you get done all you need to get done. 

I mailed off a card for you today...I hope someone is getting your mail....it is about what we talked about earlier the last few days.
