Good morning Tuesday
Hi my OFF family:
Well, it's another day, and the sun came up ... hopefully, it'll be a better day. Yesterday was the pits. Found out I didn't spill iced coffee in my cooler ... a can of Diet Coke somehow got punctured and leaked all over the place. What a mess!
I'm up early to go to the Y, then I have an appointment with my therapist and then the chiro. In between, I'll stop some place for an iced coffee break with my protein bar. I also have to stop off and cash a check and get a money order for rent. That's my exciting day. Oh, and laundry. I plan to rest and clean more stuff out of my closet. I have lots to get rid of in the next month to make room for Gary.
So whatcha up to? Thinking about Vickie and Butch. Hope Judy and her sister are OK and of course, Connie is feeling better.
Have a good day.
Eileen,
I had a day like yours yesterday. Started with an IBS attack on the way to the gym. So back home. Got my gut settled, then startrd on the mud room. Moving boxes, pitching rearranging. Threw my back into pain like i haven't had in years. So pain meds, ice and bed from 7 pm till 10 am. A bit better today, but have move lifting and toting in the garage. ... ugh
Thoughts and prayers with you all an particularly Vickie and Butch.
Will try to check back later.
Hi Francine....I am so sorry to read that your IBS is back with a vengeance. I used to have that before my WLS. I rarely have an issue with it at all. That is so painful and so miserable!!
I am glad you are being good to yourself today!!! Don't do too much lifting and toting until this settles down.
Love and many hugs to you....connie d
Good Morning, Eileen!
Nice to see you start the thread!
I meant to mention I looked at your tentative new apartment & it looks lovely! As much as I love my house there are days I wish we didn't have all the responsibilities of upkeep, lawn care, breakdowns, etc. Plus, we just 'downsized' 3 years ago & bought this place. I still miss our other house altho it was way too big for the 3 of us, and was getting to the age where things need to be replaced. This house is small...which is what I wanted, but sometimes you rethink your initial decisions. However, until Jazz goes off to college in 5 years we are here!
My tailbone is still very sore...even sitting hurts! I don't know how you live in chronic pain! I am eating Tylenol every 4 hours. I am such a baby about pain! I did force myself to get back in the pool yesterday...4 days out was killing me! It hurt getting in & out, but guilty Jim did 'spot' me going up & down the ladder.
I don't have much on the agenda today...just can't do much but shuffle around. There are 2 guys next door taking down a huge tree. They are 30-somethings, but look damn fine! Maybe I'll watch them for my entertainment today...lol!
Prayers for Vickie, Butch & Connie.
And for Trish & her situation w/her mom...
Will troll later.
Kathy
Kathy,
I never cease to enjoy watching good looking guys, young or old. I just call it enjoying the beauty of God's creation.
Have fun.

Hi Trish....you sound like me about Kathy's post....man I would have been out there offering to put some lotion on their backs...bring a cool beverage....tell them to jump in the pool to cool of....you get the general idea!! I wouldn't want to be missing that!!!
Are you at your mom or sisters now? I am prying for all of you especial your mother. I so hope you can get something worked out for her. That would be awful to have to live like that. It must scare her...it would me!
Love and lots of hugs to you.....connie d
Hi Kathy...for heavens sake stay out there and watch the show...Magic Mike comes to mind!!!!!
Sorry your tail bone is still so sore....do you have a donut to sit on?? They really do help! Keep icing!
I live in chronic pain because there really isn't a choice. I just have to keep moving....I would be worse if I did nothing. Your are taking more then enough Tylenol....sorry it isn't working out for you. You might want to go to the doctor if it doesn't clear up soon. I feel so bad for you. Sending more prayers your way!!
Much love and lots of hugs my friend...connie d
