MY DR VISIT TODAY

OK OFF Family you are the first to hear besides my boss...and Rick.

Consultation with Nurse AND Dr. Nice LONG talk with Dr...went over ALL my past medical and ALL my paps in the past etc...So here is today. Dr did an exam of my vagina, took samples, did another pap test, more biopsies also. Also did checked my rectum out!!! OUCH!!! LOL Ok Dr looked at samples under microscope. Found no signs of ANY infections etc...sending pap and biopsies to pathology and see if they come back with anything. Dr also said he saw NO dysplasia with the naked eye or anything else looking wrong in there. So until we get the reports back...but he did talk about hysterectomy...IF it THAT BAD LAST RESORT for that. LAZOR IF its also towards the BAD end of the chart. IF its on the lower end of the chart...leave well enough alone. Keep doing the check ups as before...other words...KEEP AN EYE ON IT. NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT RIGHT NOW. Could take YEARS to become worse!!!!!! OK. So hope the pathology reports come back GOOD!!!!!!!!!!! Could take a couple weeks or so. Told him if I didn't hear from him before the 24th of July...I was gone on vacation for my son's wedding. He asked where that was...told him Saginaw Michigan. LO AND BEHOLD....Dr is from FLINT!!!!!!! Had a nice chat about back home!!! Knew a lot of places I did lol. Both of us Michigan State fans!!!! Small world!!!!

So that is it for me today. Keep the Prayers going!!!! Thankyou!!!

Ugh Judy!

Hate going thru all that stuff. Biopsies were not as bad as I had heard, but still a notch up from a PAP. Due to sexual abuse as kid I have major anxiety w/ my exams. Legs shake like crazy...so embarrassing...

Glad you endured like a champ & pray all is good. Both my regular gyno & gyno oncologist were able to tell what was up when up there so your gyno's take on it sounds good. Let's hope so!

MOST female cancers are slow growing so if no sign of even dysplasia you should be in good shape!

O...& PS....my radical hysterectomy for uterine cancer was pretty much a piece of cake. I was already a few years into menopause so no problems there.

If you eventually have to go that route I wouldn't worry...

Hello Judy...I am so glad to see this post. I figured all was well as you hadn't said anything earlier.

Answered prayers...thank you God.

I feel a lot better about this new doctor already. He seems to listen and have a real interest in your situation. I am glad no dysplasia was seen by the eye. You will know more about that when all the test results are in. He was interested in talking about a hysterectomy. He didn't completely say no. I hope you have more confidence in him as well.

Plus he was from near your hometown...lots of topics to discuss that you had in common. It is a small world....we never know who will turn up where!!!

Have a good nights sleep. You can put all that out of your mind for now. You have a wedding to plan for!!!!

I will continue to pray for you and your sister, Bonnie.

Sweet dreams...love and hugs....connie d

Judy - sounds like you've got a fine doctor -- very thorough, which is excellent.  I'm sure the waiting part is hard on you, but I'm sure you have confidence in this doctor, and it sounds like he's talking the good talk.  Waiting will be hard, I know -- will continue sending prayers your way.

Hi Judy....so nice to wake up and read your good news!!  I had a hysterectomy when I was about 46 because I had grapefruit size tumor that was not malignant but gave me flooding periods 10 days a month. It was a relief!  Hope all turns out great.  You are a TROOPER!!

Judy, glad everything sounds good and this dr sounds like he is very thorough. Hope the test results come back good. I had to have hysterectomy 19 years ago when I was 46. Best thing ever!! I had lots of problems for years with several bad paps and horrible periods. So it was a relief to me!! Try not to worry and enjoy your trip and the wedding!!
