Happy Hump Day
Hey Everyone!
I am 'late' posting as Jazz's mom & I took her & her best friend to the beach for the day. We try to do several day trips over the summer & often wind up there for our vacation. It was beautiful...sunny, low humidity & low 80's. Breaks up the monotony of my home projects & swimming despite loving both!
Trish, is there nothing they can do for your ongoing sinus problems? I feel for you as one of my daughters has bad sinus problems, but not nearly as often as you do. And I thought hers were bad! I was thinking today of how you said your g'daughter reminded you of your daughter at age 8...Jazz is SO opposite of her mother in personality, but resembles her strongly.
Connie, sounds like you are feeling better! As sorry to read about your muscle spasms...I know how painful they can be. But there you are doing your walk! Good for you! And I need to borrow your cleaning fairy! I LOVE when your house smells all clean. I just don't have the energy to do all of mine in one day so any good smells are restricted to one room...short-term! I also wanted to say again how nice it was to start the prayer chain post for Vickie & Butch!
Eileen, again I must remind you that if you ever go back & read your own posts you are one busy & active lady. If you have a day you can't get out of bed listen to your body & rest. You have so much on your plate!
Monique, I lead a rather boring life since I retired last year & during the months that followed faced one medical issue after another due to my weight! I could barely get off the sofa last Fall & early winter due in part to a betablocker I was prescribed. Gained 25 lbs! It was awful! I made up my mind to pursue the WLS in January & my focus since then has been on ME! I have spent my entire adult life taking care of others...including in my career, and now I have to face the music & take care of me. So my days consist of trying to follow my pre-op requirements & goals so hopefully I can get back to PT work & have income again to splurge on things I'd like to do. But right now...BORING!
Judy, I hope your concern about your sister has turned to relief. She looked good in the video you posted. And I hope 'your ppl' are behaving! I had an assistant when I managed the homeless shelter & everytime we had 'an episode' she would say: 'Well, what are we going to do about YOUR PEOPLE?' It got to be a running joke between us all the years we worked together. As much as I got tired of all their antics I sure miss the element of surprise that was an almost weekly thing on my job. It was never boring!
I know I am probably forgetting a bunch of posts, but it is ME & my memory!
I will check back in later tonight!
Kathy
