Quick check in this morning. I have an appointment and errands, then to my primary doc for a sinus infection that got worse since Friday.

Good morning Trish and everyone...almost noon.....
Trish...I hope your doctor appointment goes well and that you feel better soon. That must be so miserable dealing with sinus issues all the time. You have errands to run too. I did that yesterday.
As for me..... I just came in from my walk. I took a slower walk today but did manage to get it all in. My cleaning fairy gets here at 1:00. I don't have anything else planned. I need another quieter day.
Prayers for our wonderful OFF family and their families. Special prayers for Vickie and Butch and their family. Also Judy and her sister. I pray Judy's sister came through surgery and is on her way to recovery.

Hi Trish and Connie and my OFF family:
I'm exhausted. Couldn't get out of bed this morning to get ready to go to the Y. So I didn't. I didn't fight it. I slept well enough but I just don't have any energy. Plus I have a headache and shooting pains in my right knee. So I'm taking a day off from everything. I will take garbage out, though. That'll be my one trip out, taking garbage to the dumpster (and I'll bring in the mail). I put chicken in the slow cooker for salsa chicken, so I'll have something good to eat tonight.
This is how exhausted I am: It took me an hour and a half to get through the newspaper ... and trust me, there wasn't that much in it. I just couldn't focus on reading. I think I just hit that wall finally. I'm kind of dreading next week, because I will wor****il next Thursday. I have next Friday and Saturday off when my brother comes down, so I don't have my usual days off. So it's probably best I rest a bit.
I should try to get my cleaning lady in here next week. The place needs a cleaning. Just called her ... she can come on Tuesday. Great!
You know who's mom called me last night as I was talking to my mom. She wanted to let me know her nephew who lives in Indianapolis would come Saturday to pick up Richard's clothes and some other stuff. I called her back and we had a nice chat. Found out she didn't unfriend me ... he did when he was on her computer. Figures! She said her sons are trying to get power of attorney over him so they can get him some help. She says he's pretty bad. Not surprised. I feel bad for her that she has to put up with him, but she's his mom. She says he goes around when she's not home and steals things and puts them in his room. When he leaves, she goes and finds them and puts them back. Just freaky.
Anyway, not much else happening. Have a good day.
Hello Eileen....I am so glad you have been able to get the extra rest you need. You are right....I think you hit the wall!!!

I am glad your cleaning lady is able to come and help you out next week. That will be great as you are in so much pain.
I am glad you spoke with HIS mom. I too feel sorry for her. I sure hope the brothers can get power of attorney over HIM. HE needs a lot of help!!! I worry about HIS mom. That is funny that he takes her things and then she goes and retrieves them. I am sure you have things missing that he pawn along the way. I wouldn't trust HIM any further then I could throw HIM. I hope that is the worst that she has to deal with...you know how HE can be!!! I am keeping her in my prayers too!!
My cleaning lady just left. It smells so wonderful in here!!! She does so much more then the others have!!
Now I am going to rest....I too am so fatigued!!!

Eileen, it is so difficult to extricate yourself from an enmeshed relationship and even more challenging when family members are also enmeshed with this most unhealthy person and keep drawing you in. It is like the Siren's song of the Laurily in Homer's the Iliad and the Odssey drawing you into danger. You are wise to keep your distance.

Finally was cool enough here to take care of the lawn, it stayed
in the low eighties. I do not have a big yard, but it still takes a
couple of hours to cut it. That was my exercise for the day! As
strange as it may seem, I like the lawn mower better than the
vacuum.
I have been up since 4:15. Done some genealogy until about 10:00
then the yard. I'm glad I got this done, will be in the Mid 90's in the
foreseeable future.
Praying for all on here that need it, special prayers for Vickie and Butch.
I told you I'm boring, don't even have a nutty neighbor I could write about

Hello Monique...you do rise early!!! It probably is a quieter time to do many things. Glad you got your exercise in mowing the law! I agree I would rather mow then vacuum!!
We had much cooler weather the last 4 days. Only in the 60s here again! Today was very dark and humid.
You are not boring....I am thrilled you have joined us again!!
