Again, like the others have said I am SO sorry you are all going thru this. All the feelings you are having are normal! No one wants to see their loved ones suffer, and I believe Butch is tired of the fight himself, & waiting to be called Home.
I also felt immense relief when my dad died of Alzheimers & my mom from COPD. They never wanted to be a burden to us kids. Sometimes I wish I didn't have the memories of my dad calling me from a mall parking lot b/c he could not find his car or of my mom tethered to an oxygen task. That's not who they were...
Although grateful, I don't think they enjoyed the role reversal of us kids becoming their caretakers. They always wanted to be the parents...there in a time of need. You have had to take on the caretaker role w/Butch & I am sure he misses taking care of YOU...or of you both taking care of each other.
Don't punish yourself for shopping. You are under unbearable stress. The piece you bought will probably bring you comfort & joy as it will represent your last days w/your husband...when you could still talk & touch. Treasure that!

Packing the car...UGH...I always hated that job. I always leave with more then I came with!!
It is sunny here today...as far as I know there is no rain coming in the next couple days. I hope the rain stops long enough for you to drive home. Keep safe when driving.
As for me..... not any plans for today. I need another day of rest as tomorrow and Sunday will be busy! I am pretty tired out so I will need a nap a some point today. I feel okay just very fatigued yet. I will take everything slow today!!!

Prayers for our amazing OFF Family and their families. Special prayers for Butch and Vickie and also Judy and her sister. I had a good talk with the Lord this morning. I love that time of day.

Too bad it's raining in Chicago. Sunny and hot in SW Indiana. I slept OK but it doesn't feel like enough. Need more coffee to wake up.
We are going to be more shorthanded at work. The woman who helped me when you know who broke in is taking short-term disability. She's pregnant and is having problems with her pregnancy ... she has had some miscarriages before so I guess her doc has advised bed rest. Hard to do when you have an active 4-year-old. She only worked part time, but her duties on Thursday and Friday have to be redistributed. Plus we have people on vacation.
Connie, hope you are feeling better. Take it easy.
Me, not much happening here. Back to work tonight. Last night was quiet early but of course at the end hectic. Most likely be the same tonight. It's the way of editing the sports pages.

Bummer shorthanded isn't good at work. I guess you are all used to it but I wouldn't like it!!! I hate hectic!!!i hope it all goes well tonight.
Now let me get this straight...you are off every Tuesday and Wednesday....is that right? I keep getting it mixed up!! At least it is two days in a row.
I am doing okay...I went for my walk and did part of it outside. It felt so good in the sun!! I so miss being tan. I was tan all the time!! Can't do it anymore. 
Hope your knee isn't bothering you too bad ....you haven't said anything lately. I just worry about you because you suffer from that and Fibro too!!

I have never heard of lemongrass oil. I have been using lidocaine cream that I bought for $50 on Amazon ... doc prescribed lidocaine ointment and it would have cost me $400 at least and $900 at most and I couldn't afford that. So the PA suggested trying to buy it over the counter. I couldn't find any in the drugstore but of course, Amazon has everything. It has really helped on my right knee. Not that it has cured it but it has taken some of the bite out of the pain.
