Apple....you will get those pounds moving again...maybe it is just a matter of changing up your menu some. If you continue to eat the same things you will have this issue. It sounds like you are doing great with exercising. Portion control is important too and you are aware of that. Remember protein first...veggies...fruit. 
I am so proud of you ladies. You are all working so hard to lose/maintain!! Christine you are just flying through this!! You should be celebrating....glad you bought some new exercise pants....that is a good...it will make you feel so much better...LOL...then a rope and huge pants!!!!
I will try to get back here and chat with everyone if I can later. You know I love you all!!!!
Prayers for our sweet Vickie and Butch and their family. Also prayers for out amazing OFF Family and their families. 
My grandchildren will be here any time now. I so want this storage issue over with!!!

Welcome back to the 'old-timers!' Karen, I read your post & have to reveal I have always had a 'secret' fascination w/all things California! I grew up loving the entertainment industry. I thought movie & TV stars were kings & queens & I loved the movie & TV scenes that reflected the sunny weather, red-tiled roofed mansions & palm trees! I loved the ocean views & redwood trees we learned about in school.
Of course I visited the 1st chance I got & in many ways it just reinforced my fascination. The East Coast mentality is more 'uptight' (it seems) than the 'laid back' West. I envy you living there...especially along the Coast. It sounds like the perfect way of life.
Please leave little 'California' tidbits in your posts so I can virtually visit everytime you write!
Apple, welcome to you as well. I am glad you have come back & shared your struggle with regaining some of the weight. I am still pre-op so I am just sopping up all the info I can about this process...short-term & long-term. I want to be successful, but I know LIFE will happen & most of us will return to old habits in times of stress.
You must know what a good place this is to be!
We had Jazz's annual end of year school party last nite. Only half of the kids she invited showed! However, it didn't seem to bother her or the others...they screamed, yelled, sang, danced, swam & ate until 10! Not to mention take a million selfies & make videos of one another! Unfortunately, I was half dead by the time the party started after stringing Christmas lights, streamers & balloons in the almost 100 degree heat & humidity plus doing some last minute shopping & food prep!
I got in the pool after everyone left b/c I missed out all day due to the running around. Swam around & just enjoyed the water, darkness & peace & quiet for an hour! The water was bathwater warm no doubt from the hot weather...that or God forbid one of the kids peed in it...lol!
Mary, I don't know WHY you think I am weird...lol! We have so mu*****ommon!

Congrats on your weight loss ... and to the others who are celebrating their losses on this journey we are all on. I remember them well ... I'm trying to get back on there, but my stubborn body doesn't want to cooperate. At least I'm not gaining, just seesawing.
My brothers finally sat down with the realtor yesterday and got going on putting mom's home on the market ... she has it listed for $169,000. I guess both brothers were surprised. I don't know if that's what they'll actually get, but she thinks it's possible. One more step on the journey.
As for me, back to work tonight. Last night wasn't too difficult and my body wasn't in too much pain. Saturday's a long night with lots of pages. I get in earlier ... didn't get much prep work done last night because I was doing two sections. We have prep teams in state tournaments or semistates (like semifinal rounds) today. Hopefully, those will wind down early. Plus the usual major league baseball, etc. I actually slept pretty well last night and fell somewhat rested. On my second cup of coffee and soon I'll get in the shower and get ready.

Hi sweet sisters! Just a quick note. Butch is doing okay today. We are both spending a quiet day doing nothing. I didn't sleep well last night so I'm semi-napping this afternoon. Both the girls went out of town today. I told them to go. Normalcy is important. Chris took Benny to a birthday party near Houston. Carrie went to visit her friends in Houston. They will be back tomorrow and Butch and I are fine in the meantime. Just didn't want y'all to worry about me. Love you all!

Aloha sisters! I'm late I know but read all of your shares and am so proud of all the success I'm hearing!! This WLS is life changing and I love the details of how your lives have improved. I remember posting about 3 years after my surgery how thankful I was to be about to pull 24" through the seatbelt on an airplane, rather than asking for an extension! Climbing stairs became easy, restaurant booths were no longer frightening, and clothes were fun to buy. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can no longer see what Ian typing so I'm going to quit. Please someone tell me how to fix this!!!!
