Hello Eileen....yup....something about him never did set right with me. Glad he has moved south. I wonder how long that will last. Does his mom live there? I pray not because she will be the one suffering because of him. I am praying for her!!!

It is probably crazier what his ex-girlfriend had to say. I sure feels sorry for his next victim!! I hope they keep track of where he is.

Love and many hugs to you...connie d

His mom lives in Georgia. I will have to let her know where he is. I want to keep her informed. She is a sweet lady. The network of friends is tracking him.

Good news for you Eileen, you'll be able to sleep better, but keep your friend Slugger at hand....

Am still recovering from  fibro with IBS, soo tired from the pains. Sleepless last night because of cramping intestines...hope am ok tomorrow as cleaner comes to clean inside of all windows, including removing sliders to really clean dead bugs and spiders from runners...really thorough job, so well worth the money. But I have to be up and in good shape to supervise....

Like all of us here, worry about Vickie and Butch.

hugs

jennifer

Hi Ladies .... seems we all have the same thoughts on our minds and sadness in our hearts for Butch and Vickie.  I'm glad the time has come for hospice - they both have suffered long enough. Cancer is a horrible, horrible disease.  You get your hopes up for recovery, and then your hopes are dashed - but not before the patient and loved ones have all suffered tremendously.  Now is the time for Vickie and Butch to find peace in the memories of the wonderful life they had together.  Vickie is a strong woman, and she will get through this difficult time.

I did get out today -- gorgeous day.  Planted my vegetables, tomorrow Taylor and I will plant the few flowers I got - three planters.

James is getting very, very down.  Not feeling well, and his breathing is terrible.  The doctors told him to go to the hospital if he had difficulty, but he knows if he goes they will drain the fluid from his abdomen, and he is afraid of the procedure....and I guess once they do it, they will continue to have to do it on a regular basis.  He's afraid to be left alone, thinking he's going to lose consciousness.  He's crazy -- but once he makes up his mind, it is set in stone.  Fear is beginning to set in, in him.  {s-i-g-h}

Prayers and good wishes to all.

Mary

Hello Mary...I am so sorry to hear that Jim isn't doing well. He needs to take this very seriously and change his ways. If he gets worse call an ambulance. He should be in the hospital now.

I will be praying he gets help and takes it seriously this time!!

I don't want to scare you...you know how much I care about you!!! This is exactly how my friend's mom died. She sat up in bed and was so afraid to sleep. She finally fell over in bed from exhaustion..she couldn't get up again. She suffocated and actual drowned from the fluid in her lungs. I don't want that for Jim and I know you don't either!!!

I am praying for you too!!!

Much love and many hugs...connie d

Hello sweet sistas,

We are home finally.  I am sick as a dog again, so this will be short.  We had an extremely long and emotional talk with the supportive care doctor this morning at MDA.  Supportive care is MDA's "hospice" type care.  We needed to have the talk, but it was draining.  I really just can't go into it all right now.  I'm wiped out.

But we will be fine in a day or two.  We just need some time to absorb all the information we've been given and to recover our equilibriums.  We are both reeling right now.  And we're both sick and tired and pretty much just want to pull in our heads like a pair of old turtles and hide right now.

I will post more tomorrow and I will also need to post on Care Pages, but I'm holding out on that part until we have a better idea of what we want to do.

In the meantime, I do so love and appreciate all your sweet prayers and cards and loving thoughts.  I am so thankful to have y'all in my corner!  It really helps.

Love you all!

 Vickie
