TGIF, Ladies!

You're all in my thoughts and prayers but I have to admit, Vickie is at the head of my list today.  I have no words beyond what I tried to eek out last night.  Love you, Vickie.  Have a safe drive home today.  Be good to yourself.  We're all here for you.

I have a busy day planned today.  I have a load of work to do (still working from home) and a ton of prep to do for our big working weekend.  I am waiting for a big dumpster container to be dropped in our driveway, so I am going to go back to waiting for that.  I will return with a better update later on this morning.   Meanwhile, you all just chat away... I will be back!

Good Morning Christine and OFF,

I just sent an e-card to Vickie.  I wasn't on my laptop last night, so I just read her post from yesterday.  I'm heartbroken, and speechless for the Poe family right now.  I hope and pray she finds peace soon.

I have baking and yard work to do today.  Gorgeous day.

Love and prayers.

Trish

Hi Connie,

Vickie's news has motivated me more to participate in the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society.

I'm putting a prayer request on my church's Facebook page in a minute.  We have some prayer warriors who will lift them up.  I'm praying of course.

Love,

Trish

Trish...that is so wonderful what you are doing for the Relay for Life...and the Cancer Society.

I know you are having so many people praying for Butch and Vickie. There are some strong prayer worriers out there doing what they do best,

I as having people from all over praying for Butch and Vickie. I have their names on several prayer lists. I still have the nuns of the  "Poor Clares " praying. My family and grandchildren are praying. The list goes on and on. With so many praying I know the Lord is listening. I want Butch to be able to enjoy the time he has left and I want Vickie to be able to spend as much time as possible with Butch. Just talking about good memories and great times! Now is the time for peacefulness and comforting.

Thanks for all you do. I know you don't let a day go by without prayers for Vickie and Butch. They need all the love we can give them. God Bless them!

More love and hugs to you...connie d

Good morning Christine and everyone...

It sure does sound like you have a busy day and weekend planned. What is the big dumpster for?? I will check in with you later.

As for me....I didn't have insomnia but I couldn't sleep because my heart is breaking for Vickie. I prayed and cried and prayed and cried some more. I could not get Vickie and Butch off my mind. I love them so much!! They are certainly at the top of my list today. I will be watching for an update, so far I haven't seen anything on Care Pages either.

I am making myself get going on my walk. I love to walk, today it just seems like a struggle.

Prayers for our loving OFF Family and their families.

Try to get out and enjoy today!! It is beautiful here again. I am so thankful for the sunshine!! High temp today in the low 70's. I will gladly accept that!!

I will check back in as the day goes by. Love you all!!

Much love and oodles of hugs to everyone....connie d

Oh goodness, I thought I had mentioned this earlier.  My bad!  We are taking down the 45 year old backyard shed this weekend, and cleaning out the storage room in our basement. We have a new shed going up and it will be such a nice addition to the yard, instead of the crumbling eyesore we have now. So, it will be a hard work weekend... I am looking forward to getting this all done!

Hi my OFF family:

Vickie and Butch are in my thoughts too. I know she is facing a tough weekend.

I, however, have good news ... the unmentionable one is out of Evansville and in Alabama (sorry, Alabama). Yes, the network of women who know him have tracked him there. His former coworker who works there got a call from him ... he said he was at the bus station. She said she was too busy at work and with other things over the weekend. She wants nothing to do with him, either. I also had an interesting facebook chat with his ex-girlfriend who lived with him up here. Wow, didn't realize half of it. Too weird even to discuss. Suffice to say he is not the man I thought he was. I'm glad he's out of my life.

I'm in the mood for a nap before work, so I think I'm going to snooze here. Have a good day.
