Jeannie...yup we are sista's with our kitchen organization. I love everything the same way you do. I can't work in a kitchen that is askew!! Most all my rooms are kept that way....organized!!

Hello Vickie....I do like your philosophy for today....you crack me up!! I never know what will come out of that head of yours!!

I hope Chris calls and cancels that court appointment. If that man isn't worried about his son then leave it as is. Benny will have a lot to deal with when he loses his grandpa. He doesn't need to be drug through this too. 

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Aunt Nellie. I am sure she was a wonderful person. Sending prayers for all her family. 

Butch is having problems swallowing...that poor guy just can't catch a break. He is still getting in some drinks and that is so good. Still praying for Butch daily....many times a day. 

Yes...I did heard about the shooting in Waco. I thought of Carrie and all of you. It sure was a bloody mess. I am glad no more died then did already. They have arrested 192+ people so far. I wouldn't want to live there...this isn't over yet!!  Retaliation!! Why they had to meet in a huge area full of other people doesn't make sense. But then killing never does!! This has really put a bad name once again on bikers. Like everything else....they aren't all bad. 

Little by little that pantry is taking shape!! You, Jeannie and I for sure all have OCD when it comes to things like that. My kitchen must be organized especially the pantry!! I can't work in a kitchen where everything is so "Higgledy Piggledy"!!! I prefer my home is neat and tidy.I am glad you are slowly hacking away at those boxes. 

I am thrilled to know you worked outside with your flowers today!!!!!! Now I know you are feeling better!!

I posted a long response, addressing EVERYONE, and LOST the dam thing!!  S.O.B.  Can't re-do it -- I was typing for about 40 minutes.  GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!  I'm P.Od.!!  I could SPIT!!

Anyway, I love you all - kudos to everyone's accomplishments, stay strong to those that are struggling.  Prayers and good wishes to all.

I'll just say I went and bought my flowers and vegetables, and pots and potting soil.........eve went to the transfer station and got some buckets of compost.......will work on that over the next few days, weather permitting.  Taylor comes this weekend, so maybe I'll save a plant or two for us to plant together.

Oh, Mary!  I can't count the number of times we've all experienced that here.  It's SOOOO aggravating!  

Anyway, I'm probably not telling you anything you don't already know, but just in case.  When you finish your post, BEFORE you press Submit, do CTRL A (which is select all) and then CTRL C (which is copy).  If your post goes through, no problem.  If it doesn't, you can open a new blank Reply Message and hit CTRL V (which is paste).  Viola!  Problem solved!

Hello sistas!

Alrighty!  I took your advice and got out to do a bit of gardening today.  I do love my flowers.

Anyway, I wanted to show y'all my "bargains" from last week!  I took a picture of my "new" patio furniture and the fabric I've selected to make my cushions.  I thought I would share it with my sistas!  Can't wait until I get started!

Vickie...I love the fabrics.... what a great choice!!! I love the furniture too!!! Your back yard looks beautiful already with your plants and things. I would be anxious to get working on the cushions too!!!

Hey Trish and Off Sisters,

I am pulling up at the tail end of this day.   I don't remember everything everyone posted and I did post on Vic so I would remember.  I am about to head out the door and DH and I are going to Coltons to get a nice evening meal.   He loves their steaks and even though I am so allergic to peanuts and they do have raw peanut cans on every table, they put us at the same table and they wash everything down before I sit down.   Honestly, I rarely touch anything while I am in Coltons; I have had reactions there but tonight, I am going to be very careful. 

I am also heading over to Pennys to get me some new bras and panties.   I swear, I don't have one single pair of drawers that doesn't have a hole in them or the elastic stretched out...it's time.   I hate shopping for underwear because I hate paying so much for so little...and no one but me sees them.  

Well, did I tell you guys my budget got approved and they even approved me some extra money that I didn't ask for to take some of my PhD students to a conference. I'm kind of excited about that.    Over the fiscal year, if other centers or departments want me to do things for them above what is required, they put money into my account, which gives me money to pay for each graduate tutor one conference...but the deans gave us this extra one too...I am really excited.   And, here's the big news, they almost doubled my pay, well, in July when the fiscal year begins, it will be doubled.   I told them if I didn't get paid a little more, I was going on the job market and had been offered two positions and I told them what they paid and our deans voted to up my pay...a lot.   I am like crazy about that.   I thought they would give me a little raise above my yearly raise....nope. I'm so happy. 

Well, I need to head out...DH is here with bells on to go get his steak.  Bless his heart, his belly is hanging over his belt so much and I hate to tell him that he needs to get larger pants...but he is happy and his sugar is down, so who am I to say anything. He spent years with me when I weighed over 500 pounds so I can sure put up with his old man belly.  

Hello Jeannie...how nice that you and your hubby going out for a nice evening meal. I hope you didn't have any reaction from the peanuts. Just breathing in the peanut dust can't be good for you.

I hope you find some pretty panties!! I love to shop for mine at Kohls. They have such pretty ones and there always is a good sale on the good brands.  

Congrats on the budget approval and the great raise!!! You are worth your weight in gold...prior to WLS...LOL!! I would be dancing and doing cartwheels it that was me!!!! Of course that would require a hospitalization!!
