Better Friday for all! (I hope!)

Good morning, sweet sistas!

May I first just say that I love you all so much!  Thank you for all the sweet notes of love and encouragement this week.  I do believe I'm better today.  I no longer sound like a croaking bull frog and I can breathe through my nose!  Big accomplishments!  LOL!

We are having "drought buster" rains this week here in Texas.  I'm happy for it, but I really do have to get out and do a couple of things today.  I HAVE to go to the grocery store today.  Really.  And Mom wants to go to another bank and do another CD.  She likes to spread her money around.  Which is fine, but I just have to accept that we're going to get a little wet today.

Butch had a better day yesterday, too.  I am hoping that this last week before he goes for chemo next week is a good one.

Well, lots on my to do list today, so I'd better not spend too much time here.  I promise that I won't overdo it.  I promise.  But we're out of milk, bread and butter.  LOL!  GOT to go to the store today.

Love you all!

Hi Vickie and my OFF family:

I had a long post about my day yesterday, and I don't feel like retyping, so please read it on yesterday's thread. Needless to say, it was verrry interesting! We were all talking about it at work last night (and yes, it's about Richard).

So this morning, I'm not going to the Y because I had my weekly call with the weight management nurse. Damn, I gained a pound. After three days straight of exercise, I gained a pound. I really need to follow through on My Fitness Pal ... it does work if I use it, but I have always hated writing things down.

Vickie, don't overdo it today, please. You need to take some time for yourself or you're going to get sick again. You can't be superwoman. Go out for a walk, have lunch, pamper yourself however you like to be pampered (a massage, a mani-pedi, get your hair done, have some wine, whatever). Just get away from the house for awhile. Find someone to watch Butch for awhile. Because if you don't take care of yourself, you're going to be no good for Butch.

Anyway, off to work again tonight. Not much happening here. I'm sleepy this morning. I already want to take a nap. Have a good day.

Addition: Richard just contacted me on Facebook. He wants me to bring his mail and a sack of his clothes to another shelter. Damn! I guess they let him out of the psych ward. Not happy! How could they let him out of there? Now he wants to be Facebook friends again? No way! Really pissed they let him out. I'm so afraid of him. If he's doing these heavy-duty drugs, who knows what he could do?

Hello Eileen...I did answer you post from yesterday so I won't here again either.

Don't worry about the pound....that can be anything. You are doing great!!

FIRST of all....RICHARD can have the police come with him to get his things...DON"T DO IT!!! For heavens sake don't be his friend on Facebook or any place. OMG!!!!! Think girl what he has done to you. It is not your responsibility to get him anything. Call the police!! When is the court date??? He knows he can't contact you....don't enable him...please!!!! I am very angry that he did that.  I knew he would be released....he can be a smooth talker. Now I am really worried about you again!!! That is right...remember drugs and his behavior!!! What could he do??? I think you know!!

I love you and am very scared for you...be cautious...he is crazy!!!!!

I just said another prayer for you!!

Love and more hugs...connie d

Oh, no, don't worry, I'm not going anywhere near him. I have brought his mail by the shelter but I've not given it directly to him. When he contacted me on Facebook, I told him I would not bring his clothes over to him. And I definitely wasn't going to refriend him on FB. At that point he got really snippy with me and said, "You can give my clothes to Goodwill. And you can find another n----r to clean your house for $200 in foodstamps while you spend your money on expensive YMCA memberships and Starbucks coffee syrups."  Well, screw him. I am spitting mad. I want him gone, far gone from my life. I did so much for him. I basically saved his life last summer and this is the thanks I get. And then he attacked me and I'm the one in the wrong? No, I'm not going anywhere near that asshole. I wish he would leave this city because I will not feel safe until he does.

Hi Eileen...you are an amazing person....keep strong my friend.

What an ASSHOLE is right!! I am so glad to know you aren't feeling any differently about the crap R pulled on you and everyone else. Don't answer anymore calls either. I would put his things in the trunk of your car and take it to the police station. They can deal with him. He had a chance to take his things. At least call the police and find out what law is on his getting his things. You may just be able to sell it or give it away. They won't let him come and get it. I would also let the police know that he wants his things NOW! Also that you are afraid of him. They know what he is like. Remind them that he may try to get in through a window again as he knows when you aren't there.

More prayers...love and hugs...keep safe....connie d

Eileen, in most orders of protection he is forbidden form any contact with you at all.  In any event I implore you to:

1) Block him on Facebook and report him to FB as a stalker.  Please do this now.

2) Block him from calling you. ( block his phone number on your cell phone and home phone providers.)

3) Print the entire message thread and file a police report - or add it to the OOP file.  Please. Don't wait.

4) notify the post office that he left your address (you can do this online, right away). You do not need to provide a forwarding address.  Back date it - the attack date is the effective date of his move out.

5) write "no such addressee return to sender" on very envelope that comes to your home and drop it back in the mail.  That's it.  Do NOT deliver any mail to him.

You saved his life and you now must save your own. I can't wait until you're out of that town but until then, cut all ties and all contact. All ties and all contact. And document his attempts to contact you. This IS war Eileen, I am sorry to say. You have every right to be spitting mad.

Thanks for the suggestions. I can't leave this town, I work here. I am moving to a new apartment in August with my brother, however. Richard, I hope, will move back to Jacksonville, where his family is and he can then mooch off his sons and other friends.

Good Afternoon Vickie & Eileen & all who follow!

Vickie, glad you are feeling better! I hope you can wind down, though, as Eileen suggests so you don't go down again. Groceries are a must, but other chores can be done in a more leisurely manner. I wish we were getting some rain soon as my roses need some water! If you are getting some in TX I am sure it will be headed to the Notheast soon.

Eileen, I read your response in reference to your relationship with Richard's mother. I am happy it is a mutually positive one, and not one that drags you down. It is good the two of you can commiserate over the harm Richard has caused you and his family. He really sounds like he is spiraling out of control! Good you got him out of your apartment when you did.

I am in awe of your commitment to your exercise regiment at the Y. You really spend a lot of time taking care of your body. Which then helps take care of the mind. I would think the weight gain is either from muscle or something as simple as eating more sodium the day before. I used fitnesspal religiously I really credit it with keeping me accountable. It is a great tool!

I have been sleeping pretty good this week and waking up pretty energized...at least the past couple days. I have scraped paint off our windows to repaint, dusted & polished, done laundry, washed down the kitchen cabinets and cleaned Jazz's room. I am ready for a nap...then up for my walk and back to working on those windows...I only have the patience to work on them about a half hour at a time. Then I gotta move on to something else.

Everyone enjoy their Friday. It is beautiful here in the 1st state (geography test...do you know what state that is...lol???)...sunny, breezy & mid-60's.
