Oh, man, Eileen!  As the real story comes out, it just gets worse and worse.  I'm so sorry, honey.  You lock up tight, have a glass of your favorite wine or beer, and pet Juliette!  I'm real proud of you, hon.  Real proud.  Look what you did!  You fought back, protected yourself, and got the authorities right there.  You did exactly right!  As for Richard, none of us can predict the future.  You were following your heart.  There's no reason to feel badly about that!  Connie's right: this is NOT your fault.  Don't you dare go there in your head.  It's HIS fault and no one else's!

Love you sista!

We are all thankful that Eileen was about to fight off her abuser.   And, Eileen, don't you dare blame yourself for this...you couldn't have known what he was capable of doing; while I thought he was stealing from you, I didn't think he would attack you like he did.

As for everyone else, ladies, let Eileen be our lesson on bravery and how we can fight back to protect ourselves.  I hope you all have a safe and good night....

Well, I am finally here.  I have been out most of the day.  When I was home, my brain was not functioning well enough to post.  Too ADD/ADHD.

First thing this morning, I was at the dentist getting my chipped front teeth fixed.  From there I had to pick up some meds in one part of Lansing, then head to my PCP about the nausea I've been having.  He ordered bloodwork, and two prescriptions for me.  One of the things I am grateful for is that the building where my doc's office is has a lab and imaging department right as you walk in the main entrance.

On the way home I stopped at Kroger and got some groceries, most were on sale.  Then I picked up my prescriptions, stopped at the bank, came home, put the groceries away,  threw some clothes in the washer, and put my feet up.

Just when I was going to post, Colleen called.  Izzy was sick in the bathroom, Trent was dropping Lincoln off at football practice, and she had to leave for work.  So, I went over to stay with Izzy till Daddy came home.  Poor angel threw up right after Mommy left.  She was crying, and so upset.  I rubbed her back, got her some water to rinse her mouth out, and tissues to blow her nose.  When her http://www.today.com/parents/special-needs-proms-offers-acceptance-safety-teens-t18311?cid=sm_fbnstomach calmed down, Daddy came in the door with some ginger ale for her.  She was upset because she didn't want to miss play practice, or school tomorrow.

As soon as I got home,  I put the laundry in the dryer, jumped in the shower, and then headed to a ladies fellowship at a friend's house.  Every few months the ladies ministry hosts a cooking demo.  One of the women showed us how to make two kind of salsa, quacamole, and black bean dip.  Then, another woman gave her testimony about how she came to accept Christ as her Savior, and what God has been doing in her life lately.  She's around Mom's age, and just celebrated her 65th wedding anniversary.  I love her to pieces because she helps in our Toddler department during Sunday School most weeks.  She uses a walker, and the kids just adore her.

So, I ended up getting home close to 11:00 tonight.  Problem is, I'm so wound up from my day, I'm not tired yet.  I'll go to bed once I've wound down.

I'm excited coz tomorrow I get to take Frankie out for his birthday.

Eileen, I hope you do seek therapy.  You could have PTSD.  I'm glad you spoke with the people about domestic violence and your legal options.  I know you'll follow up with their legal people.

Vickie, I'm glad to hear that Butch had an appetite, and at some breakfast.  I hope he continues to regain his appetite, and that his nausea stays away.

Can't remember who else posted, and it is Friday already.

Love, Hugs, and Prayers,

Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
