It is Monday...where is everyone....
Oh my sweet Vickie.....you are going to have to wear a whistle around your neck. When those two come at you you need to blow the whistle and send them to a time out. I think it is 1 minute per year of age....they have to sit quietly for that time. When their time is up you need to sit with them and they need to explain why they were put in the time out. If they don't know they sit another however many minutes you want.....then they can give their answers. You will have a lot of quiet time because of their ages!!! LOL!! Worked for my grandchildren. They were really pretty good most of the time. Good Luck!!! You know I am kidding right?
I was wondering how that was going to work for you with those two around while you try to unpack. You are nicer then me....they would have to wait until I got to the box. Time to sit with them and quietly discuss their behavior and what it is doing to you. You are the only one doing EVERYTHING. They need to be more patient and understanding. I don't want you going crazy over this!!
Sorry some of your boxes got misplaced. I am really good at writing on boxes as to what is in the box and also what room it is to go into. They always get it wrong!! Hopefully by the end of next week things will start on the down slide again!!
Wish I could help...you know I would if I could. I love you my friend!! I hope you have a decent night sleep tonight. I am glad the tub and shower has worked out so well for you!!!
Loads of love and bunches of hugs....connie d
Good evening Ladies -- how did it get to be so late?!!?
Vickie - glad you're home. Knowing you, everything will be unpacked and put away by the end of the week. I can picture your Mom standing there wanting to help -- my Mom would be the same way. She was such a dear, dear woman. I was lucky enough to have her live with me for a year and a half when she wasn't able to be on her own anymore - I'm so, so glad we were able to have that time together. Hey, I wish I lived down by you - because I would show up for your yard sale, for sure!
Connie -- sorry to hear about your chipped tooth! Unlike Kathy, the dentist scares the bejesus out of me. I have two teeth that need to be pulled -- and since they are not hurting me, I keep putting it off. But I do have to take care of them soon because I'm noticing a lot of "yuckiness" going on in my mouth. I wish I had a cleaning fairy coming to my place. I have so much "stuff" to get rid of, and it makes it go faster if you have someone to work with you. I'd ask Maura, but she is so very tired on the weekends I'd rather just let her get some rest. She has a lot of stress at work because people leave and they are not replaced, plus she has some type of fatigue issue - whether she's anemic or something else I'm not sure. She has been to the doctor about it, but it doesn't seem to resolve. I try to put music on when I'm working, but I wish I had company.
Kathy - you're a bundle of energy -- maybe you can drop by my place and help keep me going! You're here aren't you?-- they didn't put a hold on you??!!
Hey Trish -- hope you're feeling better. I have no problems with my water, but Jim will only drink bottled water - says the tap water isn't as good.
Eileen - I think a lot of us could use a glass of wine these days (rather than the "whining" I've been doing )
Judy -- Well, hope you had a good day. You haven't posted so I'll hope things are ok and they haven't had to take you off to the funny farm -- I know those tenants can drive you crazy!!
Prayers and good wishes to all !!
Mary
