If Richard, for some reason gets worse please, call the police they will find a place for him to go. They make sure he gets a social worker and someone to help him with his disability case.

You really don't need to put this all in your hands.

Please tell him to quit moving your things. That is your decision to make and not his.

His poor mom...how sad that she had to deal with him like this. Now none of his family wants him around anymore. That really has to be hard for his mother. God Bless her!

I am still sending prayers for you every day.

I hope your night goes well....love and hugs.....connie d

Just was texting with him on Facebook while I'm at work, and he blacked out again. I really need to find some place he can be where he can get help. I think he's worse than he was at his mom's. Not sure what caused this ... it's just gotten worse since last Sunday.

Today, he asked where his Surface computer was. I told him he sold it to me for $60. He didn't remember. I wasn't taking advantage of him ... that's all he wanted. He didn't like it. I told him he could have it back.

I'm not sure what changed this week ... but he is acting very flaky. I have to find a social worker.

Eileen....please get him out of there. He could have an be having TIAs or a blood clot on the brain. He needs help....take him to the hospital...they will line him up with the agencies he needs.

He is not himself....as I said before....I worry about your safety. He is a danger to himself and probably others as well at this time. If this is the case he can be admitted right now!

PLEASE think about this.

More love and hugs....connie d

Hi Eileen,

Most communities have mental health services available for the poor, and they are thorough, though overburdened.  I worked at one part time one year.  I'm sure if you called your county health department they could tell you what agency handles the poor in your area.  These agencies receive partial funding from county and state funds, plus Medicaid and Medicare.  My nephew goes to one weekly.  He's been on SSI and Medicaid since he turned 21.  He suffers from schizoaffective disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder.  Plus, his IQ is only 75.  He works two days a week at a workshop for special needs adults.  I think he's also got a job coach and a case worker who meets with him at his apartment.

I empathize in many ways.

Love you.

Thanks everyone. I think I'm going to talk him into going to the ER tomorrow. The problem has been getting Medicaid. He has a hearing May 13. He was turned down once, but I think it was because he didn't have all his records turned in. He too has OCD and now is having memory issues and has brain damage from the seizures. His IQ, however, is high. But he can't remember things. And he keeps having blackouts. I think this is due to his renal disorder. I remember my dad blacking out while driving (and that was the last time he drove ... hence, Richard is no longer driving my car).

I hesitate to contact his mom, because she is suffering from mild dementia too, plus he doesn't get along with his brothers. His kids are in their 20s but from what I gathered, they're not very mature. They're back living with their mom (Richard's ex, and they don't get along).

Good Morning Carla and OFF,

Well, I overslept this morning, and missed Lincoln's football game.    But, I might get to go with Colleen and the gang to see a Michigan State football team scrimmage.  Not sure.  Colleen and I have lots to do.  Colleen is on the Missions Committee at church.  One of our missionaries' houses were broken into, and they lost a lot of expensive stuff.  Not sure what country they're in, or anything about insurance, but still, they need money over and above their monthly support.  So, she's organizing a Souper Supper, right after church.  I'm making beef vegetable soup and cupcakes.  I'm putting it all together in the crockpot today, and it will be ready tomorrow for church, just have to plug it in at church, and put it on warm.  I have leftover frosting from the Easter cupcakes, which has been in the freezer since then, so I only have to bake them and frost them.   I love cooking and baking, but hate cooking just for me.  Plus, I shouldn't be baking for myself at all.

I better get back in the kitchen.  Too much to do,, and no time to play on the puter.

Love to all.

Trish

Hi Trish....sorry you missed Lincoln's football game. Your body must have needed the extra sleep. Don't worry he will have other games!!

So sorry that the missionaries house was broken into.  That is pretty bad. What is wrong with these idiots!! I hope they get caught!

That Souper Supper is a great idea. I hope you have a great turnout!

I love to cook and bake. I haven't baked anything in at least eight years. I do cook and freeze things for myself. You are right...it is hard to cook for one!

I am going to eat some lunch and then try to get a nap in. No sleep last night is getting to me!

Love and oodles of hugs....connie d

Hello sweet sistas,

Just wanted to let y'all know we're doing okay.  So far so good. Butch hasn't had any nausea yet and the bone pain from the neulasta shot had been minimal so far. We are geared back to mda this afternoon for infusion #2. Really ready to go home but we will survive this brief hiatus and be home tomorrow night.  Love you all!
