Hello Ladies,

Its a cold day here in Michigan and spitting snow once awhile.  I came to the library to see if my book came in but it didnt so hopefully it will be here Saturday.  I havent been up to much this week.  Helping my friend that had surgery with grocery shopping and having dinner with her last night.  Im making dinner for us tonight.   Otherwise I dont have anything else planned for the rest of the week.

Sorry your book hasn't come in yet...I  hope it is there by the weekend.

It is so nice of you to help your friend. Picking up groceries and having dinner with her last night was greatly appreciated I am sure!! Making dinner again for tonight is really thoughtful! 

I don't have anything else planned for this week either. l just go with the flow!!!

Hello OFF family...Just got home from work...FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!! I am FREEZING!!!!!!! I thought winter was over!!! It is 39* and it feels MUCH COLDER!!!!!!! BRRRRRRRRRRRR It is even trying to snow!!!!!!!!! WTH???????

I FINALLY got ahold of the woman that schedules surgery!! My pre-op is set for May 7th. I have to have EKG and Lab work...YIPPEE!!! Then Surgery is set for May 17th. I think she told me the wrong day for surgery!!! 17th is on a Sunday!!!!!!!!! WTH????? Will find that out when I see her Monday afternoon!!! Hell maybe it IS on a Sunday????? Stranger things have been done on a Sunday...LOL

I got my Lease for tomorrow signed today and he will be moving in tomorrow. Got yesterdays new tenant his carpet cleaned today for him instead of having to wait til Friday...LOVE our carpet cleaners!!! Got a RECERT done also today...plus another application taken in and denied because he down right LIED on it to us!!!!!! Not moving him in here!!!!!!!

Floor guys showed up today!!!!!!!!! New floors are now in!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!! Now the new tenant can move in her apartment!!!!! I can rent the 2 bedroom also!!!!!! So all I have left is a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom and I am FULL!!!!!!!!!!

I called the dr to cancel my appointment for tomorrow. They asked why. I told them because I didn't feel like I was going to die anymore and to give my appointment to someone that needed it more. She said she was sorry I felt that way. I said I NEEDED the dr Monday...not now. Ofcourse it was not the same person I talked to Monday...but the dr WILL hear about this when I need to go in and see him to renew my script!!!

Eating REAL food today for the first time since way back last week!!! OMG!!!!!!!! So what am I eating? FRIED Chicken. YUM!!! See how long before I get sick on it...lol. Been eating chicken noodle soup, pineapple, Vernors, broth, water, not much at all...oh I did manage to eat a brat...not much but some. I did TRY a country rib...YUCK!!!!!!! Oh and my vitamins.

Well best go check out FB see my games that I have missed for so long.

Hi Judy....We are both freezing....39 degree's here too!! When is spring going to come and stay?? I am so sick of this weather bouncing around!! I am sure you are too. We had snow yesterday...it didn't even stick to the ground...thank goodness!!

You at least have your pre-op scheduled...definitely call tomorrow about the 17th...I wonder if she was looking at the wrong calender....they don't schedule surgeries on weekends unless it is an emergency. But then....YOU are special!!!!! 

I am so glad that you do background checks now....you have enough going on there without adding to it!!! You are crazy busy again today!

I am soooooo happy that you are finally feeling better!!!! I would let the doctor know about the lack of concern too!!

It is wonderful you are finally eating real food!!!!

Hope your shopping trip went OK, Connie, and your place got cleaned.

I had a lot of errands to run today. Richard and I had some words this morning. He asked me for a vicodin because his back hurt and he hadn't got his prescription yet from his doctor. He wanted to take it and then drive my car to Walmart to pick up his script. I told him, no, you don't drive on that. He was rather petulant, but I told him, "my car, my rules." He said, "Then you drive me." I told him I already took something because I had a bad headache and I needed my caffeine. He stormed back to his room. After awhile he apologized, saying it was just the pain talking. Well, I understand all about pain. I live with it daily. My headache stayed with me all day ... nothing has helped it. In fact, I snapped at him more than once. We are living in too close quarters here and are getting on each others' nerves. I hope his Medicaid and disability comes through soon. 

So we went to Walmart for a couple things; he lost his contacts for I called to see if he could get another pair. (Richard didn't want to call; I'm not that proud.) The guy there said of course he could and there would be no charge. I believe in asking. All they can say is no.

So we got that and his drugs and a few other things at Walmart, got his records at his doctor's office and something at CVS ($14-plus amount cost me $6 ... they are discontinuing their sugar-free assorted fruit hard candy so it was 50 percent off). Dropped Richard off at home, then picked up some bargains at Schnucks, local grocery store and came home. Richard cooked inside out burgers (yummy, but of course, he made it too big so I have two days worth of leftovers) and herb-roasted potatoes. Now I'm still trying to get rid of my headaches.

As for the pills, Richard says he lost almost all of his clonopin too ... I'm missing my Imitrex. Can't say if I believe him or not. Landlord has promised to come over and get the locks change. 

Back isn't so ouchy today, knee of course still hurts. Arnicare gel seems to help a bit. 

Vickie, I'm glad you guys are safe in Houston and hope your visit is OK. 

Got to get laundry out of the dryer so I can get my nightshirt on. Have a good night.

Eileen -- don't you know men are "special"?  Their pain is ALWAYS worse than ours. 

I usually don't talk about the pain I'm in....because I could be on the floor writhing in agony, tears rolling my face, and my sweetie pie would have to chime in about "his" pain ...

I have to laugh because he always mentions "I broke my back in three places"   PULEEZ.... he has compression fractures.....and my husband had the exact same injury but he managed to put a new roof on the house, paint the house, build decks and stone fences, etc., etc., etc.  

I had to leave the house today for a few hours -- or I would have blown a gasket!!  It was good to get away by myself.  I ended up going to Walmart and picked up some special "supplies" for Taylor: construction paper, colored pencils, stickers, Kindergarten activity books, etc.  Maybe next time I'll spend some money on myself!  

I'm tired tonight so I'm going to take some pain meds and get into bed early and hope for a good night's sleep.

Mary....that was nice of you to get some craft things for Taylor. She is at the age where she can be so creative!!! She has a good grandma!! I hope you really do buy something for you next time!!

Sorry you have to leave home because Jim is so uncaring about how you feel. He would not like me!!!! 

I just took a Vicodin so I can sleep tonight too. Pain this bad would keep me awake. Sweet dreams....hope tomorrow is a pain free day for you...well ....close to pain fee!!

Hello Eileen..... Richard sure is demanding of you when it is your money and your car. I can see why you have had words with him!! He really should be in a assisted living place. He needs someone around him all day long. He needs a rep-payee too. 

Sorry you had such a bad headache all day. Too much stress and tension will cause that....plus allergies!! I have had one all day too too!! I hate this time of year...so many things around causing allergies for everyone! 

What are inside out burgers????

I am sure your knees are still hurting. That epidural must be working for your pack pain.  That is a plus!!

Inside out burgers are where the cheese is inside the meat inside of on top. Very good, just way too big.  I put Richard in his place and my drugs are well hidden. He has his own painkillers now.

I'm so happy you got your sleep.  Vic, I hope you Butch has a good night.  Eileen girl, it sounds to me like Richard has a drug problem and it sounds like he might be taking way too much of his medication which explains his passing out and seizures.   Because he gets so upset so quickly and demands instant gratification, I worry about you being home alone with him.   There is a reason his family isn't helping him....I worry about you.
