It's Saturday ......what's new with you???
Eileen...OMG...I would be furious!! 7:30 AM!! How is he getting to Walmart? If he has brain injuries he sure shouldn't be driving. Brain injury or not....he needs to start keeping better track of meds and things that cost you money. then you will know where your finances are. He needs to keep his meds in a shoe box so you can look at them before you go anywhere. You are a wonderful person to do this for him....and not SCREAM!!! I would be so pissed!!!! I am praying he gets that money soon!!!
I hope your night at work isn't too stressful. I am happy you got a reprieve on the rent. Sorry his iPad got broke...good thing he has insurance on it.
Love and hugs...connie d
He is driving my car. His brain injuries affect his short term memory (and I think a lot of it is he brings it up every time he wants sympathy, too). Now that he has new contacts, he can see better (it did affect his vision too). He just doesn't think ... he acts first without thinking what will affect others. I did scream a bit, but then remembered who I was dealing with. It's like dealing with a child. I think he has some early dementia now. I need to keep track of his meds because he isn't doing a good job. I have to ask him now if he took his meds.
Hey Girls,
Connie, nothing is as good as serenity. I know that as soon as I let my *****y sisters know that I was no longer open for their crap, my life improved. Vic, you know, sometimes chocolate is the thing to make a life tolerable.
Eileen, girl, you know, you are going to have to set boundaries with Richard and one should be when and if it is ever okay for him to wake you up. I also agree with Connie that you should keep up with how much money you are forking over to him.
I spent the day in my office, working on data analysis....which I hate.
Well, to all those I missed, I hope you weekend goes great.
Connie,
I am working on two separate articles: 1) is a chapter in a book that focuses on teaching non-native English speaking students how to write and 2) is an article in which an accounting professor and I are writing for an accounting journal and we are writing the results of a pilot study that we did... I finished the chapter for the book but the accounting one is a little more difficult because we are analyzing data. But we are getting there. Hopefully, we will finish soon and I can get back to having my weekends and evenings free again.
