Up and at 'em Wednesday!

Good morning sweet sistas!

Another busy day for me!  Today I deal with BOXES!!!  LOL!  So, so, so many boxes.  Ack!  How did I accumulate so much stuff?

My goal for the day is to get as many boxes unpacked and moved out of the way as possible.  I have to make room in the garage for the delivery of new cabinets tomorrow (Thursday), and then more stuff on Saturday.  It's a bit crazy, but I'll make it happen.

I think the move went as well as it could possibly go.  God is good!  Now I just have to roll up my sleeves and make my new house a home.

Also, I think I sold the RV yesterday!  The consignment place called and said they had an interested buyer who made a very decent offer.  I told them I would take it.  But they still have to write up a contract, etc., so the deal isn't final yet.

Butch is doing okay, but he's still very weak and tired.  But the pain is better and he is trying to eat a little more.  He will be coming with us today since we have Mom's twin beds set up at the new house already.  He can lie down and rest as needed.  

I've got to scoot!  No time to dawdle or waste today!  Love you all!

Congrats on all you got done with the move.  Also, I'm so glad that Butch is doing a bit better today, and that he ate something today.  It's good he's going to the new house with you, and great that he can sleep on one of your Mom's beds.

I have to get moving out the door.  I have an appointment in Lansing in an hour.

Vickie, you are amazing.  Congratulations for getting everything moved in.  Now the fun starts!  Good luck settling everything in. It will take you awhile but it sounds like you have a plan.  Don't forget to include R&R for Vickie in that plan, you hear?

Trish, how are you feeling?  I hope you're better.

Everyone else will follow so I will come back to visit properly.  I am continuing to feel better every day and I'm hitting all my key numbers for exercise, protein, and water.  Today I really feel like I'm turning a corner, and in everyway.  Rather than do the same short walking loop I've been doing, today I took a short walk at the harbor - next town over.  We live very close to LI Sound, with harbors and fishing and beaches and such.  I was driving by and decided to take my walk there. It was just amazing!  I didn't walk too far but it was a lovely change of pace. Now the key is to not do too much and allow myself to get overtired again!

Hi Christine...I am so happy that you are feeling that first turn of the corner!!! I remember those days...YeeeeeeHaaaawww!! You are right, please don't push yourself too hard too fast. You are doing great!!! What a beautiful place to walk. I have been there, but it was quite a few years ago. Just a lovely area!

I need to get out for my walk. My cleaning fairy just left. She came a couple hours earlier today. Now I can walk and then have a relaxing afternoon. I plan on sitting outside for awhile just to feel the sunshine!!

Hope everyone is doing well! It sounds like both Vickie & Christine are making lots of progress between the moving and WLS!

Way to go!

I had my stress test last week for my cardio clearance for the surgery, and got a call that my cardiologist wants to see me to discuss the results. I said to the nurse 'I guess my results were abnormal' and she said it may just be an 'artifact, 'but of course the dr. will be the one I need to talk to.

Grrrr...

I have a-fib (irregular heart beat) and HBP...both under control. I hope I don't have any blockages that will require any invasive procedures. I am SO tired of dealing with the fallout of my obesity related problems. I just want to get this surgery done and move on!

Anyhow, enough *****ing!

I am going to try and enjoy this wonderful rain and snow free day!

Hi Kathy....sorry that the cardio clearance is on hold until you see your doctor. I am praying that there won't be any type of surgeries needed other then WLS!!

Don't give up....keep jumping through those hoops!! It can be very frustrating at times. I had mine delayed a couple times...I kept fighting and finally had my WLS!! It is well worth the wait. Your time is coming....hang on!! 

Yes...you go enjoy the rain and snow free day...just what you need!! Soak up the sun!!

Vickie.....you deserve a star ....you are just amazing!! I am so proud of you!! I would have been sitting crying. There is no way I could do 1/4 of what you do!! Butch must be so proud of you too. I loved the picture of your little bunny....how cute!!! I am sure you will sell all the items you posted...it was just lovely!! I hope you are right and the RV is sold....wouldn't that be wonderful....one less thing to keep track of!! You new house will be a home before long...I know you!!! When I moved in a new home I was always finished unpacking and even had pictures on the walls in less then 24 hours. See what an organizing freak I am!!

I have been wondering how Butch was doing. You really haven't said much about him the last few days. He will like being at the new place where you can be together again. I am so happy his pain is better. I remember how weak an tired Nic always was. That Chemo knocks them out good. I am glad there will be a bed ready for him!!

As for me....my cleaning fairy is here. Doing an amazing job I might say!! It smells so fresh in here.

Nothing else scheduled as of yet. I will just go with the flow!!
