Good morning - Good Friday

Hello sistas! Just checking in. We are still here.  Butch needed some blood transfusions.  As usual we had an appointment time of 9:30 a.m., but they were running very late and now it looks like we e won't get out of here until close to 5 p.m.  grrr!  This whole trip has been nothing but hurry up and wait. I'm trying not to let it get to me.  I doubt Butch will feel like driving home tonight so we probably won't go until tomorrow. Another grrr!  Nit only do I have tons of things to do at home, we are missing Carrie's whole visit!  Oh well.  It is what it is. I sure hope the blood transfusions have a good effect and Butch gets some energy back.  No wonder he's been so weak; he's been anemic. I am tired but I'm hanging in there. I love you all.  Wish I could post more but I'm in my little phone. Christine I'm thinking of you! 

Hello Vickie....I am glad you stopped in to let us know you were probably staying in Houston another night. I am glad Butch is getting blood transfusions. That will perk him up!!

Have a safe trip home. Sorry you will miss time with Carrie. I would be writing to the HR person about those ridiculous long waits. I few hours is one thing...a hole day...not okay!!!

I am sure you are tired...catch a cat nap now and then when you can. I love you....hang in there....I know this is so hard for you.

Good morning Christine, Trish and everyone.....

As always... lately.... I am forgetting to add my reply to the person that starts the thread. I don't know why I am doing that these last few days! 

Anyway...not too much happening here. I am going shopping today with Pam. Tony is out of town. I am going to try to make it a quick trip if I can. You all know how shopping with Pam goes!!

I was looking at my leg that I fell on last Sunday. I couldn't figure out why it is still hurting. I thought I just had a little cut and bruising. Today I am black and blue from my knee to my ankle. It covers about half my leg!! The bruise is much bigger and darker on my hip and butt too. Pam said that happens when the bruise is so deep it takes days surface. She wasn't kidding! 

I am going to go take my second walk now. I won't want to when I come home after shopping with Pam.

Prayers for our Lovely OFF Family and their family. Special prayers for Butch and Vickie. I hope the trip home is a safe on. Prayers continue too for Judy's sister. God Bless her and Judy too. Such a sad situation.

Christine....pack some CHAP STICK!!!! You will have DRY LIPS....Chap Stick will HELP ALOT!!!!! Right after your surgery when you wake up and can't have anything to drink...CHAP STICK will save you from going crazy!!!! LOL
