Hi Francine and everyone,
better late than never! Here I am at 9pm. Wow what a day, no joke! But I am very happy and feel blessed to say, all the busy-ness was due to good causes. I got a wonderful job offer, and they are willing to wait for me to join them after I've recovered enough to fly. (The job requires frequent travel by air and my surgeon says, no air travel for 4 weeks.) So I am relieved to say, I have found a job and I know I will be back to work on May 4. Today I needed to do a bunch of paper work for that, and also need to write a bunch of thank you notes as well. And then thank the dear Lord, my final surgery approval came through from the insurance company today too. They really let it come down to the wire! But my surgeons office went to bat and help me clear the final hurdles. Whew! So I signed all the surgical authorization forms and made everything official. Let the countdown begin!
Kathy, thank you so much for the prayers. I hope you get better soon!
Eileen, the Sound of Music is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. I can't wait to get the 50th anniversary version.
Connie, I'm do glad you're healing up! Please take care of precious self. What did Nic end up doing as his prank?
Vickie, holy cow that's a busy day. Carries ex is a real loser but sometimes those are the ones that really get to your heart. Poor thing.
francine, you think you have the devil horns but.. I think Judy is the one who may have earned them!!! Wow that's a story!
Trish, I hope you'll post a picture of that dress when it's done. The pattern sounds lovely!
Jeannie, I have to say your daughters prank is the best one I've heard all day! You took it like a champ. I don't know I could have been as gracious!

Congratulations and WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!! Your surgery was approved!!!! I am so happy for you!!!!! Your surgery will be Monday right?? I will be thinking about you and sending lots of prayers!!
Glad the new job is going to work out with your surgery schedule. That is great too!!! Your new employer seems very understanding!! I am sure everything will work out perfectly for you!!

Hi Ladies --
Not much happening today. I kept dozing in the chair today because I have not been sleeping well lately....I've been getting up around 2:00 in the morning and not getting back to sleep.
My recumbent bike got delivered late this afternoon -- I will be putting it together tomorrow and will be riding it in the afternoon. I'm so looking forward to it - I've wanted one for a while and I think it will help me a lot to stay on program. Why exercise if you're going to eat the calories back on.
Beautiful, beautiful day today -- SPRING IS HERE!!! Time to start my Spring projects.
