Monday Monday
Hi everyone,
thanks or your prayers. I'm officially on the losers bench now! Everything went well, no complications, pain is thus far manageable. I'm up and walking. - slowly, but I'm up. Can't sip till tomorrow but I am on my way!
thank you Connie for keeping tabs on me. Love you and all! Thanks for adopting me into the family!

Welcome to the Losers Bench!!! Of course you're walking slowly. The goal is to move, and speed doesn't matter.
Love you. Keep on moving.

Hello All,
I needed another weekend day. I hit the ground running and have not stopped all day. I sort of got a stomach thing late this afternoon, so when I got home from work, I went to make me some potato soup and no potatoes. LOL. Isn't that the way it goes, so DH ran to the store to pick me up some potatoes and he came back with five sacks filled with junk. I wanted to scream...
Vic, I have been down that road of bailing out my kids more times that I care to remember and this year, I said no more. When I have helped my daughter, she does pay us back but my son...well, he makes no effort so I have had to tell him no and it is so hard to do. My son, like your daughter, just cannot live within his means and his wife, well she doesn't even try to budget. It is so hard to not help because I know that when they get behind, they are going to lose something but I am not enabling them. Her parents don't and my ex doesn't help them so I am not helping either.
Connie, good for you in your walking and I know that once you get your muscles built back up, you will kick some walking butt. Eileen, girl, I know what you mean about getting fussy with these old men...My husband will lose something and then tell me that he gave it to me. A couple of days ago, I said, give me the mailbox key and he said, I don't have it; I gave it to you and I said, no you didn't and we went back and forth and finally, he started looking around and found it in his coat pocket...his favorite response is, I gave it to you.
I was happy to see we have a new bench warmer on the bench...Christine, your life is about to change and it will happen so fast. Hold on to your pants because literally, from one day to the next, they will fall off.
Well to all those I missed, I hope your Monday evening is uneventful and restful. I am staying close to the bathroom and hoping this is a virus and not something going on with my crazy digestive system.
