Hi Eileen... am staying in for Easter as well. You have to work so that would spoil anything you could do. 

Sorry about your mom's TV. I am glad Gary managed to get her a TV. He can find out what is wrong with the new one. I hope it they give him a new one if it can't be fixed.

Sorry work was so lousy last night! I hope all is better tonight!

That guy spent five hours working on a toilet....good grief!! He really didn't know what he was doing. I hope they come and fix the whistle, that would drive me crazy!! Good Luck!!

I am tired and hope to get to bed early. I don't like getting up at 5 AM....I once again couldn't sleep. I was awake until 2 AM. Just not enough sleep for me. I can't sleep during the day. Not unless I am in too much pain and on pain meds. They knock me out. I am going to take an extra 1/2 of my Trazadone that will only be 75 mg.  I can take it as I want too, my psychiatrist always orders me extra just for nights like that.

Hello Connie and All,

Today, I am cooking for tomorrow's Easter dinner at my sister's.   I am also trying to find some material I bought a while back...you would think in this little apartment, I would find it pretty easily; however, that is not the case.   Oh well....I guess if I have time today to sew, it won't be with the pretty cotton that I bought to make me a skirt.   One thing about sewing for myself is that I use the same pants pattern, same top pattern, same skirt pattern, and same short and capri pants pattern   You would think my wardrobe would be boring, but actually, I do change the pattern up a little with the length of things and pockets...well, you know.   Plus, yesterday, I saw this woman with a really cute top on...it looked sort of Indian like....long to just at the knee or below with darts up the back on each side to make it fitting and two cute pockets in the front....She was wearing the top with a loose fitting pair of pants so I think I could make the top and pants with some cotton/synthetic material and get a little stretch to it but it would be cool for this summer.   I will see about changing the top pattern that I make into that longer top...it shouldn't be that hard.   

Aside from trying to sew and cook, my day will be uneventful.  I was going to go into my office to work on some stuff, but I am thinking probably not.   I kind of like running around in my gown and big socks...dressing in real clothes to go into the office is not very appealing to me.

Judy, your tenants are a little on the nuts side.   I cannot imagine how hard it is to bite your tongue.   Eileen, you should call the landlord back over and over until he fixes the commode the right way.   Connie, girl, take it easy until you recover from the fall.    I tried the cleaning fairies but sadly for me I would clean my house like a crazy woman before they got here so there was nothing left for them to do but the easy stuff.  My husband would get so mad and say, let the cleaning girl do that and I would say, no way, I cannot let her know how dirty my floor is. LOL

Well, I need to move around a bit....the chicken is cooking for my casserole, so I best go poke it with a fork.   

Hope the bunny rabbit brings you all a little basket of goodies. 

Hi Jeannie....you are cooking early! I guess you have to if you are taking it somewhere else. Have a Happy Easter with your family! Please be careful driving. I will be praying for your safety!

I can't imagine sewing like that anymore. I couldn't if  I wanted to!! I think that top you are talking about will be beautiful!! I love long tops. I always wear them with leggings. Comfort is a necessity these days!!!

I am trying to be careful. I have slowed my walk down some as I hurt too much to go faster. I just love walking!! Thanks for caring!!

It was very hard for me to not do my own cleaning. My health just demanded I have someone else do it. The gal I have now is pretty good. They are never as thorough as I like to be. Oh well, I just have to let it be. I live alone and keep things neat and orderly so it never gets that bad anyway. 

I have none...ZERO ...candy in my home. Pam is always bringing things here. I told her yesterday that if she does it again I will not keep it!!

Hey girls, what's up? 

I went to the market this morning to stock up on my liquid diet / post surgery essentials.  Well sticking up is an overstatement as I know I'm not going to consume a lot.  I also needed to get dog food in the house because my wonderful family wouldn't know what to do if we ran out! LOL 

easter will be quiet for us this year.  My step kids will be with their Mom so my husband and I will have a quiet day at home.  I bought myself some expensive but delicious lobster stock (broth) to have for Easter Dinner.  And if the weather is good, we will probably take the dog to the beach and let him run around and play.  Should be nice! 

Sorry to have missed the personal posts but I hope to come back later to "visit" properly.  Ta ta for now!

I am glad you thought of your dog food....LOL...no one would know what to do if it ran out!!! That is probably true!!!
