Good Morning OFF,

I am just checking in really quick.  I have a date with Frankie this morning.  Colleen has stuff to do to get ready for Easter, and I am taking him out.  We're either going bowling or to the bounce place.

Will check back in later.

Love and Prayers,

Trish

Good morning Trish and everyone....

Trish....I hope you have a great time with Frankie today!!

As for me....I am fine just really dragging today. I wish this feeling would go away! My arms and legs feel so heavy. I need to go walk!!

I am going to try to have Tony take me shopping. I need to get a package sent off to my Gracie for Easter. She is the only one that gets those small packages. There is a delivery service here that gets her package to her overnight and they cost a 3rd of the Post Office! It just gets too expensive to do things for all the older grands. They don't feel bad, they tell me not too. Heck, everyone likes a surprise now and then!! I send each one a card now and then...I add a surprise with some dollars in it for gas and such. In April three of my grands have birthdays. That can add up fast!! I love them all so much and wish I could do more to surprise them. They are all such great kids!!

I should do a couple small loads of laundry. I don't want to have too much left for my homemaker next week.

Prayers for all our amazing OFF Family and their families. Special prayers for Butch and Vickie. I hope their day goes well with no complications. Special prayers too for Judy's sister.

Wishing everyone a beautiful day....God Bless you all.

Bushels of love and bunches of love to all....connie d

Connie, I hope you feel better now.  Maybe the Spring weather will boost your spirits.

Hope you can get Tony to take you out.  I love doing special things for my granddaughter -- but I realized a while ago I've got to do something special for my daughter too.  I don't want her to get jealous!  I love when I'm able to do something for them.  I only have one daughter, who so far only has one daughter -- so it's not too much to get them something special once in a while. Last year we all went down to NY for a family gathering (I have four brothers) -- drove down to CT and took the Ferry over to Long Island.  Spent the day with family, and took the Ferry back, but stayed overnight in CT at a nice motel with a heated swimming pool.  It was lots of fun.  I'm thinking of taking them to a water park this summer.

Well, last night (or early this a.m. at 2:00) I assembled the recumbent bike - I've been jumping on and off it all day.  I really like the idea of getting my body moving -- it feels good.

Hope everyone has a good day.  Good wishes and prayers for everyone!

Hi Mary...I am slowly feeling better. I just run out of energy fast!!

It sounds like you had a great time last summer. I love Long Island. I have stayed at a couple of the nicest B&Bs there. Very country and a lot of antiques. The beds were heavenly!!!

I am sure you will find something fun to do again this summer. Your granddaughter sure loves being with you!! I haven't heard you mention your daughter much. I am sure she is nice too!!

I went out for both my walks at one time today. Close to 4 miles. I know I won't feel up to walking after I shop!! The gusts of wind about took me away. I had to hold on to my walker, it was trying to fly!! The temp was great!

I am glad you got your bike together, I wouldn't know where to start!! I am truly a dumb blonde when it comes to putting things together and gardening and such. I am an ace at numbers!! I love accounting, bookkeeping and I am super accurate and organized!! Everyone has their strong points. Both my daughters are the same way. Give them numbers and they are happy!!

I hope you have fun with your bike!! I bet it does make you feel better!   God Bless.

Love an doodles of hugs to you....connie d

Enjoy your date with Frankie, Trish.  Just last week I promised my granddaughter Taylor that I would take her to Chuck-E-Cheese before she starts school.  How time flies -- I remember taking my daughter there regularly for birthday parties--and that was about 20 years ago.

Hi all! We are still here at MDA.  We've knocked out aabout half of our appointments today. Still have to see the lung doctor, the nutritionist, and then finally chemo late thus afternoon.   Right now we have Butch settled in a recliner for a brief rest before we have to change buildings and go again. I'll try to post more tonight.  Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers! Love you all!

Hi Vickie....thanks for letting us know you made it to MDA. It sounds like things are going smoothly so far. I continue to pray that it keeps going that way!

I am not sure if you are staying in Houston tonight or going home. I guess that will depend on how tired you are and how Butch is feeling. God Bless you both. Keep safe driving!

Loads of love   and bunches  of hugs to you....connie d

I'm back.  Frankie and I went bowling, because Colleen said that I'd have a hard time taking him up the steps at the bounce place.  She has a hard time there, and she's in better shape.  Frankie loved it at the bowling alley.  He got wiped out, because he lifted his ball, 6 pounds, and then he wanted to use mine, which was only 8 pounds.  He used the ramp most of the time, but sometimes he wanted to do it on his own.  We talked about how he was pushing the ball like Spiderman, Superman and Batman.  After bowling, we went to McDonald's, where he got a Happy Meal, and I got a salad.  On the way home, we stopped at a gardening place, so I could get some hooks, to hang bird feeders from my tree out front.  The branches are pretty high, and I love to see the birds, when Utley isn't out there.

I didn't get my dress cut out yesterday, so I'm heading to do that now.  Then, I have to make my buttercream frosting, because tomorrow, Colleen is having a bunch of cousins come over for some Easter projects.  We're going to make Easter basket cupcakes, color eggs, and make bunny bags.  Her Grammy always made the bags for her class, and my kids.  She'd use paper lunch bags, and cut them out a certain way so there'd be a handle and ears.  Then, make a bunny face, and color in the ears.  Grammy Pat taught first grade for 33 years.

I better get moving, or I'll never get my project started.

Love, Hugs, and Prayers,

Trish

Hi Trish....I see you are back.....it sounds like Frankie had a great time bowling! McDonald's is always a hit with kids. The only thing I will eat there are their salads. They are pretty good!

Tomorrow doing all the Easter projects sounds like so much fun!!! I used to love to do all that with the kids. Now they are all too grown up....except for Gracie. They will be doing fun things with her on Saturday. She loves decorating cupcakes and coloring eggs and such too. I miss those days! You have a really great time!!!

Good luck with the dress.....I hope it is a simple pattern!

Much love  and lots of hugs....connie d
