Hello ladies,

it's been a busy week and I am sorry to have missed out on so much.  I am in the final stages of a flu battle, finally able to talk a bit tonight,  I had to postpone rehearsal for my band today, as I can barely talk and forget about singing. But mostly, this week I've been dealing with trying to get the final insurance approval for my surgery and figuring out when I can start another job. I'm going crazy in limbo here... For those who don't recall, I was laid off at the end of February and my surgery is scheduled for April 6 (pending insurance approval).  So I jumped in and started looking for a job right away in February, thinking it would take a while and also, because the surgery may not be approved. Well the good news is that I am inching closer to approval, and I got a great job offer.  The problem is, the job would start on April 6 so it was a choice between the job and the potential surgery.  I chose to wait for the surgery.  So, no more job interviews for a little bit.  I am putting this all in God's hands, and doing my bit here on earth by staying positive, praying, and getting the insurance and surgeons offices any new piece of information needed to get approval finalized!  It is scary to remain unemployed but I have faith it will work out as it should, somehow.

Vickie, good news about Butch but I will keep praying for both of you! And what a louse your daughters boyfriend is,  to break up by text! Ugh!

Judy, you have had one heck of time of late. I just cannot believe all that is on your plate right now. You're a strong woman but I hope you're taking care of JUDY.

Trisha, hooray for Michigan! I have no dog in the NCAA race this year so I'm not filling it. I know that must sound like heresy!

Francine, Happy your broke your stall! When did you have your surgery and which surgery did you have?

Jeannie, that sounds like a great road trip, complete with flamingos! Congrats on the nice weight loss :-)

kathy, oh I am so sorry about your stepson.  What a tragedy at a young age. GFY for having your first nutrition visit! I have learned so much from my nutritionist. I thought that, with a lifetime of diets I had learned it all but nope. I learn so much for her and from these boards and the internet. It's an experience!

So I have postponed the dinner cleanup for A bit too long! My husband is handling it well though, so maybe I will sit here on my iPad a little bit longer ;-)

have a great night!

Thank you my dear, I appreciate it. I asked my church prayer group to add me as well.  but my struggles are NOTHING compared to what you and so many here are facing.  You're in my thoughts and prayers too!!!

Ah, Vickie, so sorry about Carrie and her BF ... what can I say, men ... can't live with them, can't kill them. It's why I'm single. And another good saying ..The more I know about men, the more I like my cat.
