Wish us luck Friday!
Good morning sistas!
Well, wish us luck. We're off to the title company in San Antonio to close on the new house this morning! Butch is not feeling real energetic today, but he's up and getting ready to go. I have on a skirt and make up for a change. I feel like a grown up! LOL!
I'll post pictures of the new house on FB when I get back. Love you all!
Good Morning Vickie and OFF,
Happy Spring Family!!!
Vickie, I hope all goes with with the title company. I am thrilled for both of you.
I am up, barely. I had trouble going to sleep last night. My sinuses hurt, not congested but raw kind of sore. The air going through them was painful. I need to use my sinus nebulizer today. I just hate using it.
I will get moving in a little while, and I have a goal of cleaning out my kitchen cabinets today. Not sure how many I'll do, but I want to have stuff for a garage sale this summer.
My family back home is getting snow today. Nice first day of Spring for them. I'm not happy with my sister right now. She's taking Mom back to her house tomorrow. She's trying to talk her into staying with her friend, Sam. I am sure Mom won't do that. Eileen is such a wimp when it comes to being assertive, especially with Mom. I can't go out there right now. I have too much to do here, between the house, the kids, and church.
Well, I better get moving. My head is starting to wake up, finally.
Must scoot.
Love, Hugs, and Prayers,
Trish

Hello and Happy Spring to you Trish!!!
Please use that nebulizer ...it will help so much. I can only imagine how sore your sinuses are...OUCH!!
So you have set a goal for the kitchen cabinets to get cleaned out today. Don't overdo as you will get overwhelmed. As you go along look at the cabinets you have done and see the improvements. That will help you to not be so anxious. A little at a time!!!
I saw the snow out east and cringed. They just can't get a break! I hope your mom does well at home. If not I guess your sister will have to get her again. Stick to your plan!!
Much love and many hugs....connie d
Good morning Vickie and everyone....
Vickie...I am praying all goes well at the Title Company!!! I look forward to seeing pictures!!
Glad you are feeling like a grown up today...LOL!!! We do have times like that!!
Judy....I hope your mom is doing well. I am concerned about you.
Trish...I hope you are making progress on all the things you want to do. Remember a section at a time. Be good to you!
I am happy to hear that Butch is up and is going to make it to the closing. I was wondering if they would end up coming to you. Glad it is working out. More prayers for you both.
As for me....I finally slept last night...I am feeling better. Pain is there but now only about a 5 or 6...I can manage with that.
We are having a fish fry here tonight at 5:00 PM. That will be fun. They broil the fish and no breading is put on it for those of us that don't eat deep fried.
Kyleigh and Mitch are suppose to come tomorrow for the day!! I am not sure because of the pain if I can cook. We will just have to go out. That is fine too. It is my right side where the ribs are collapsing. Also the right side of my neck into my shoulder and down my arm. I have a hard time doing anything with that side. I am right handed too!! Oh well....quit complaining Connie. Others here have it so much worse!!
I am going out for my 2nd walk soon. It is cloudy outside but the wind doesn't look so harsh like it was yesterday. I am trying to get out every day for a short walk outside.
Wishing everyone a beautiful day!!
Prayers for our precious OFF Family and their families.
Much love and oodles of hugs to everyone....connie d
Hello again!
Well, we own it! This makes 4 houses, y'all! The property taxes are going to eat my lunch. Got to sell at least one of them soon, but I'll worry about that in May, after we move.
Anyway, I wanted to post just a couple of pictures here for those who aren't friends with me on FB. I love the open floor plan and the big back porch! Can't wait to get in there and make it my own.
Hi Vickie and my OFF family:
Vickie, I love the house. I especially love the deck/porch. Very nice. And it looks like it's all one floor. My kind of house. I will never rent anything with a basement. Can't do the stairs.
I have had an eventful morning. I planned to sleep a little late because I was up early yesterday and was so tired. Well, at 8:30 a.m. Richard wakes me up ... he desperately needs me to print out the letter I wrote saying he is paying no rent/utilities that he needs for Medicaid/disability. They have been screwing around with him. He had to have his stuff in today or he had to start over. He couldn't find his papers. I swear there's a black hole in that bedroom that swallows up all his papers. He had the letter and his bank statements but this morning he couldn't find them. So I had to get up, go to my computer, find the letter, then get Word to work (it was balky) and print it out again. He then called the bank and asked them to print out the statements again (he had to have the statements from the bank, not from his computer). So after that, he could go drop them off. Well, after all that, I couldn't go back to sleep, so I just stayed up and made coffee.
About 15 minutes later, I got a text staying everything was underway and he should have an answer in 48 hours. And later today, he got a call from the Social Security person; he had a short interview, and it looks like the disability process is underway, too. He has to see a shrink, but he may not have to see another doctor (he has anxiety and OCD issues and is on meds for them). I'm so hopeful this is proceeding, and so is he.
So for all that, he made me a late breakfast. It was yummy. Then he cleaned all the mold off the kitchen windows (windows don't seal properly). So it looks much better in the kitchen now. I do appreciate all he does here for me. Even if he woke me up early.
Trish, take care of your sinus problems. You know how those can progress for you. I have noticed my allergies are kicking in already. My eyes are itchy.
Connie, how nice you'll see your granddaughter tomorrow. Let them take you out to dinner.
As for me, I tried to nap earlier but then the Social Security person called Richard on my cell instead of the landline. So I got up and took my shower. Tried to nap again but it wasn't happening. So I'm up and watching basketball. It'll be busy tonight with March Madness. At least Indiana is playing early (right now, in fact). Last night Kentucky got over late.
Not much else happening. I guess this is long enough already. Have a good day.
