Fridat the 13th, again!

5:00, and no sleep at all last night! No rest for the weary. Just finished my morning coffee. Started a post at 4:30, and it disappeared - this one will be short and sweet...BRB.

So anyway... Probably didn't sleep because I'm annoyed with Jim. I saw an ad for a young dog at a rescue shelter -- young small female dog that has been spayed - for $60, which is cheap. Ad says dog has trust issues, but adapts well after getting to know you...Jim says something to the effect that the shelter is not telling the whole truth, that trust issues equates to big problems. I have wanted a dog for a while, and certainly would devote time to her and give her lots of attention. So he mutters that I would do whatever I wanted to do anyway. As Judy would say WTH!!! I've taken over feeding and litter box duties for his rotten cake (as you can tell, I'm not a "cat person"). I do a lot for him, and would have wanted a response like "let's go check it out" On one hand I say OK, I will "do whatever I want", but on the other hand I say wait a while when the timing is better because there's a lot going on. Just disappointed with Jim. ....... .. That's it for now. On a positive not, I've got my granddaughter Taylor for the weekend, so that makes me happy. .....Sending prayers and positive vibes to all of you!

Hi Mary...well I started a thread too...there weren't any showing yet for today when I started. Oh well, that's okay. Now we have two!!

Sorry about the puppy....I think she would be great for you!! If he has a cat which he doesn't take care of...you can certainly have a dog. You do what you need to do...there are always dogs available.

I am so glad you have your granddaughter, Taylor again this weekend. I know how much you enjoy having her there. She is such a sweet little girl!!

I'd go get the dog anyway.  Poor thing.  The puppy needs TLC.  Sounds like you do too.  Also sounds like you aren't going to get it from him, not on this topic anyway. 

I'm trying to figure out what task I need to do first.  My list is endless.

I have one bill to pay, and then I have to get to work on my to do list.

Hello Trish....Remember what I said about taking things a little at a time...you will get more done....everything just overwhelms us when there is too much going on at once. Be good to yourself!!

Take sometime out of the day to do something special for you. Read for an hour, browse the internet, make a phone call to someone you enjoy talking with, just about anything. Relax in between chores. You can do it!!!
