Good morning/afternoon everyone....
No one is posting their day on Vickie's post....just sending prayers. I decided to start this one for the day!
Thank you all so much for prayers for my precious, Nic!!! Passing this test means so much to him and to all of us. He has had a hard road but never ever gave up. I am so proud of him...like I always say...HE IS MY HERO....he really is!! Thanks too for the love you sent him!! I passed it on to him this morning. He is so appreciative!! He knows how special this group is to me and it makes him so happy!! Test is at 5 PM central time.
My cleaning fairy comes today. I have laundry to do as I never got it done. She will be cleaning and running a couple errands for me. What would I do without her, I can't imagine.
I am going to try to get in one walk now before she gets here.

Hi Connie and my OFF family:
So far, I have stripped the bed and washed sheets. Richard is out running errands and having an interview at Social Security for his disability. I have to stay here waiting for my new phone to arrive. I just checked the tracking and it says it'll be here sometime before 8 p.m. Great! So I have to wait all day then. Needless to say, I'm not happy. I got up at 8 a.m. because you have to sign for it, and I didn't want to miss the FedEx guy coming. Instead, I'm stuck here all day. Not altogether bad, because I need to rest one day. But it would be nice to go out today ... it's actually pretty nice.
Last night, I talked with my brother on Skype. He might come down on my birthday weekend. I was going to go up there that week, and I still might, but I'd leave on Friday along with him and we'd then we'd spend the weekend in Evansville, have dinner or something and I'd show him the city. Since he may be moving in with me eventually if and when he retires, he wants to see Evansville before he makes a decision.
Anyway, so that's been my day. Last night, Richard and I had Chinese food and we watched "Mockingjay, part I." It was great. Today, we have leftovers.
As I was writing this, my phone arrived. So I had to stop and do everything I needed to make it work. Now it's charging.

Hi Eileen....those delivery places need to give you a window of time they can be there. That is ridiculous to make people wait the whole day like that!
You did a little laundry, how did that work with your knee? I bet it is hurting now.At least you had time to rest a bit.
It would be nice if your brother can come down. If he wants to know more about Evansville that is the way to do it. Look around and decide for yourself if it will work out. I thought he was going to move to Florida to be closer to his grandchildren? Oh well, his choice.
I want to see Mocking J, part 1. I loved the Hunger Games!! I need to check into it!!
Chinese food sounds so good!! I hardly ever have it anymore.
I hope Richard's meeting went well. I hate having to deal with Social Security!!

Hi Ladies,
Im spending the day with my dad and step mom while my car gets fixed. Im having a good week. It is nice and sunny here today. Nothing much is going on with me, just take one day at a time. I lead a pretty boring life.

I so appreciate all the beautiful sunny days we have had. I went out for a walk again today. That fresh air is so nice!!
My life is boring too....I live in senior housing...it is a very nice place. So safe and welcoming. The people here are very nice too. They play a lot of cards and I am not a card player...unless it is poker! No poker here....maybe I should see if anyone else likes to play...hmmmm!! We do have four different areas to put puzzles together. I do join in with them. I can no longer drive because of my balance. Now is the time I wish I had my car!! It was my choice to give it up for medical purposes.

Late afternoon OFF family....I HAVE BEEN SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BUSY!!!!!!!!! I can't even get away to go to a funeral!!!!!!!!!! Guess Spring is in the air and people are looking for a new home...If the phone isn't ringing off the hook people are stopping in to talk. I so wanted to go to Bernie's funeral today and I couldn't get away in time!! Viewing was only 1-2 with service at 2. I couldn't get away from here at all!!!! Made me sad...heard that Dee had a break down at funeral. Again at the cemetery. I guess I am sort of glad I wasn't there...I can't take sadness right now...I would have been right there with her!!! So sad...her one daughter will be staying through the weekend with her...rest is leaving tonight and tomorrow I heard. She will be so lost without Bernie.
Connie...Praying Nic passes his test!!!! Heck I KNOW HE WILL!!!!

Went to chiro Doc today...he said you are not smiling. I said NOPE!!!!!!! Been up with Charlie again at 2am!!! Not good!!!!!! Rick said yeah she wasn't happy last night at all!! Doc asked if I was doing anything different...no...just taking vitamins and drinking more water. He adjusted me and said see you Friday if it happens more/yet. OK.
Weather here was VERY FOGGY today!!! WOW!!! Sun JUST came out!!! It is 45* right now. Talk is Rain for the rest of week and into the weekend. NOT happy about that. Heavy rain is also being talked about. Flooding is my worry here. One extreme to another!!!! GRRRRRRRR I sure keep the hair color business going!!! Sighs......
Well time to go to FB and relax play some games...

Hi Judy...I am so sorry you couldn't get away for Bernie's funeral. That is really sad. I am sure Dee is and will have a hard time for awhile. Maybe you will get a chance to speak with her soon.

Still having Charlie Horses....that is too bad. Hope tonight is a better night.
The last thing you need around there is rain...I am sure you are worried about flooding. Something all the time!!

Connie I was sitting here playing games on FB and legs were jumping....hope its not the start of RLS not what I need!!! I went and laid down on the bed and stretched out...next thing I knew I woke up in time to go lock up!!!! OMG!!!!!!!
