Prayer-for-me Wednesday
Good morning sweet sistas!
Well, I figure we can all use a few prayers today, but I especially need some. Woke up saying, "Lord give me the strength I need today" and I'm still saying it. Today I'm trying to get that huge RV moved and ready to sell. I tell y'all, if I can do this, I can do anything.
Carrie is here and Butch is on hand to give advice, but still, the majority of it is going to fall directly on me and I'm feeling the stress. I went over to the storage place yesterday and got as much of our stuff as I could reach out of the RV. But it has 3 slide outs, and there's quite a bit of storage space that I can't reach until we open it all up. So this morning we are headed back over there. So first thing, I have to hitch up that big 5th wheel, then pull the RV out of the bay, open it up, and finish cleaning all our stuff out. And then comes the fun part! I have to pull it into town and get a safety inspection done, then pull it to the big truck stop car wash and have it washed, and then finally pull it to the RV place where they will try to sell it for us on consignment. UGH. I have only ever pulled it going down a straight highway. I've never driven the truck pulling the RV in town or in traffic. I'm scared to death!
Think we maybe sold the boat last night. My cousin's husband wants it. Oh, please pray that it is so! That would be a huge relief.
Out of time, so I'll close. I love you all! Pray for me today!
Hi Vickie, and OFF,
Vickie, I am confident that you will do fine when you move the RV. Pray before you go. Turn the entire day over to God. Stay focused on Him, from start to finish. Let Him take control of your mind and emotions, and take your time. You will be fine.
I have a busy day of paying bills online, and Running errands.
Praying for everyone, especially Vickie.
Love and Hugs,
Trish

Best of luck & prayers, Vickie!
I know you have a lot of stress on you with Butch's illness & this impending move! My husband had his leg amputated while we had our home of 16 years up for sale, and I had to do the cleaning out and packing primarily by myself. It was overwhelming at times! We were downsizing for a variety of reasons and just going thru stuff was emotional enough in addition to knowing we were leaving our first home together where our parents (now deceased) had visited and where the kids grew up.
Take your time. It's a huge project especially when you have a sick spouse to tend to.

Swinging chickens for you, Mary. A friend of mine on the cat board has liver failure and isn't doing anything for it. He's unemployed, has no insurance and right now, no running water for his house, where he lives with five cats. Another cat friend in the same city says the house is filled with garbage. She's tried to help him, but he won't take it ... but at least he's stopped drinking. Too late, it seems. Sorry you are going through this.
So sorry to hear, Mary - prayers to you and your husband. Stay strong!
