Happy Sunday Everyone...what's happening today???
Good afternoon everyone.....
I just went for one of my walks. I am tired out. Time to have some lunch. I will post this first.
I hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day. Mine was okay. My grandchildren and one daughter text me, one called. Tony text too. Of course, there were many messages on Facebook. I was trying to lay low yesterday. Valentine's Day was always one of my favorite holiday's. The last two years have been rough. I so don't like being alone on that day. Oh well...that is how it is. It sure could have been worse.
I am really hating these 0 degree days. The wind is so gusty and harsh. I wouldn't go out in that for anything. I keep praying Spring will come soon!!! So far everyone from here that was traveling, Carla and Trish, made it safely where they were going.
I will check back later....maybe someone will post.

Hi, Connie.
You've been doing very well with your daily walks. Do you walk inside when the weather is like it is today? Some holidays are not easy for me. I'm not big into Thanksgiving and Christmas. For one, I'm not a great cook -- the only cooking I really enjoy is baking. So, Thanksgiving isn't something I relish because of that. Christmas has become way too commercialized and I think that's sad. I remember back when I was a kid -- my mom, brother, and I didn't have much money -- yet those were some of the best Christmas memories I have.
So glad that Trish and Carla made it safely to their destinations. I am intimidated by freeway driving. And, driving in severe winter conditions is just not something I'd be up for. I'd rather fly than drive. Goes back to childhood and my father's driving I think.
We just went for some coffee and traffic is heavy. I thought it might be the Seafood and Wine Festival but checked and that's not until NEXT weekend. I guess lots of people are out and about because the sun is shining. Can't blame people for wanting to see the ocean on fine days like today.
Hubby is back from his hunting trip. The hunting party got skunked but he had a good time anyway. It is good to have him back home. The dog and I really missed him while he was gone.
I hope everyone has a good day today. We are going to do some house cleaning -- putting it off until mid-afternoon. Just going to chill and relax until then.

Hi Cindy....yes I do walk inside. The temps here are too brutal and not safe with all the ice out there. I have COPD....I can't handle cold weather. The cold temps trigger my pain...not good!
I am glad your hubby is back home. It is good for those guys to hunt and bond. I am sure you really missed him. The dogs always miss whoever is gone even if it is only an hour. Got to love those fur babies. LOL!!!!
I have been relaxing for hours. I so need that today. That insomnia is kicking my butt!! I got caught up on a couple magazines and the Sunday paper. Nothing to do now but make dinner. It will be a simple meal.
The Walking Dead is on tonight. I love that show and really try not to miss it!!

I am sorry this holiday is so difficult for you. That must have been a horrible loss. I am glad your sweet little granddaughter is there to keep you company. They always make days so much better!
I am working on my weight as well. It is a struggle, some days are worse then others. I just keep working at it.
You can bet I am Thinking Spring!! I am so tired of this cold bitter weather. I spend a lot of time alone in my apartment.
