I am happy you still have a few days to relax before you need to return to work. I would guess you are pretty sore from all that traveling. 

So Richard is coming back. It sounds like a good thing as brothers don't seem to want him there.

Afternoon OFF family...Vic...if you are really serious about that duplex...do it. HOA can be a pain in the butt though!!!! You HAVE RULES!!!!!!!!!! LOTS OF THEM!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!! You might not be able to have more than one dog...check into that before you buy!! Also fences...MANY things for HOA. They can be MEAN!!!!!!!  Prayers continue for Butch and hope that he DOES improve and stays with you and us longer than expected!!

Connie we are getting snow off and on and just got word again we are under a WARNING again for 4-8 inches of snow. And yes the IDIOT girlfriend showed up this morning again and yes she is STILL here!!!!!!! I swear she has NO BRAINS!!!!!!!! He says he tells her to go home or stay home and she doesn't listen....guess who wears the pants in that relationship!!!! Anyhow I saw coming at us is snow west of us falling 1-3 inches per hour!!!!!!! I feel bad for anyone that get**** with that!!! Its falling here pretty good right now...YUCK!!!!

Went to Bingo last night and only had chances...LOTS of them!!! Darn it!!! Oh well can't win every week!!!

Talked to mom a little bit ago and found out my older brother had surgery on his hand...doing ok...has to go back for check up Wednesday. My sister is having a surgery on her arm and leg??????? Not sure what that is all about...her veins I am guessing for her dyalasis?? She has been having a lot of problems with them I know.

Not finding any obit on my ex MIL yet. Weird. I want to write in the Guest Book...just to make my ex sister in law cringe...she hates my guts....I know I am bad. OH WELL!!!!!

Eileen I am glad you left early to come home!!! That storm is nothing to get stranded in!!!  Sorry that you couldn't spend more time with your mom and family though. So Richard is coming back to your place huh?

Pizza just arrived so time to eat...wanted to wait til later on but Rick said he was hungry NOW!!!!! SIGHS.........MEN!!!!!! LOL

Hi Judy....yes some HOA's are really tough, others aren't too bad. If I were Vickie I would get a copy of the bylaws and check into it. Some places like everything exactly the same down to what color and kind of trash cans are allowed. How many and what kind of flowers you can grow and where to put them. I am praying this place isn't so crazy!! It sure sounds perfect for them!!

I can't believe all the snow you are getting. I am sure we will get more too. There is barely any here now. Very cold though!!! The winds have been pretty harsh too.

I hope you enjoyed your pizza for dinner.

Good Evening Vickie and OFF,

Just got home from a Super Bowl party at Colleen's in-laws.  What fun, with the 11 cousins, ages 6 months to 8 years.   Trent drove, because it's been snowing all day.  We left for home at the end of half time, because of the snow.  Izzy and Lincoln's school cancelled school at 4:00 this afternoon.  None of the roads we drove on have been plowed yet.  Then, Trent got stuck on my driveway a little, because it hasn't been shoveled.

Had church this morning, and got to listen to a pastoral candidate's sermon, as well as sit in on a question/answer session.  I'm hoping he becomes our pastor.  We've been without one for 18 months.  We've had interim pastors, but not a permanent one that long.  

Then, this afternoon, I was baking cookies for the party.  They were a hit.

I'm wiped out. 

Vickie, I love the idea of the duplex, especially since they're new.  I have no clue what HOA is.  I've only ever been either a home owner outright, or renter.  But, your idea of renting the side you're not living in is brilliant.  Colleen and Trent own three rental properties, I'm in one.  Trent is a contractor, doing remodeling of houses for a living, so he does all the work on all their houses, saving tons of money.  Only problem is when he's working on a rental, he's not bringing in any income.  

Colleen just texted, and the college she works at on Mondays is closed tomorrow.

Hi Trish....HOA is Home Owner Association. They tell you what and what you can or can't do on your property. There are certain rules and regulations that must be followed. 

It sounds like nasty weather there. Keep warm and keep safe!!! I am glad you all came home early. The roads must be a mess if the school and places are already closing.

I hope this new pastoral candidate works out and accepts  his position at your church.

I've heard of Home Owner Associations.  I just didn't remember the acronym.  When my hometown of Levittown was built, William Levitt, the builder, imposed ruled, like no clotheslines on Sundays, and no fences.  This was the early 1950's.  Those rules didn't last long.
