Sorry about that.  Utley decided to go potty, just as I was beginning to type.  Crazy dog.

It is snowing.  I'm staying in today.  Not even going to church tonight for the kids program.  I don't drive while it's snowing, and I have no clue when this is ending.

I got some work done in my room yesterday.  More to do today.  Plus, I need to finish carrying the Christmas boxes down to the basement.  I only have to more bins to take down.  I had packed everything up two weeks ago, but didn't finish taking them down.  Plus, I need to finish some laundry for nursery.

Colleen has motivated me to keep working with my walking DVD.  She and Trent started a diet exercise program two weeks ago.  He's walking on the treadmill everyday for 20 minutes.  She's working out with some kick butt DVD program for 20 minutes everyday.  He's lost 10 pounds, she 5.  They're also tracking their food on Myfitnesspal.com.

So, I am doing my walking DVD.  I highly recommend them.  Not sure if they're still available.  I got them about 10 years ago.  I'm doing the easiest right now, working my way up to the more intense ones.  Leslie Sansome made them, and she has real people in some of them.  People of all shapes and sizes, which I appreciate.  I'm also starting to use hand weights for my arms and back.  I think they're five pounds.  Can't remember for sure.

I have some phone calls to make today.  Nothing urgent so far.

Hope Butch and Vickie made it to Houston okay.  I'm continuing to pray.

Must scoot.

Love, Hugs, and Prayers,

Trish

Good afternoon Thrish....

I am glad you decided to stay in today. No point in taking chances in the snow.

Those bins can wait...be sure you feel well enough to do stairs!!

I would like to know more about that walking DVD. You mentioned the lady that made it, what is the name of the DVD? I think it is great that Colleen and Trent are doing some working out too. You can all support each other!!

I have been keeping Vickie and Butch in my prayers. I hope the PET scan went well. I know they won't hear until tomorrow what the results will be. I am praying for them both!!

As for me....my cleaning fairy should be here anytime. I am going to have her take me for a few groceries. I also found a card table and chairs. I need to have it picked up.

I need to go for now....she is here.

Wishing you all a beautiful day.

Prayers for out special OFF Family and their families.

Much love and many hugs to all.....connie d

Hi Connie,

The walking DVD's are called "Walk Away the Pounds," by Leslie Sansome.  She had a variety of them.  I own a few.  You could probably find them on Amazon.

Love you,

Trish

Hi Trish and Connie:

I want to get Christmas down but I feel like **** excuse the language. After I get done here, I'm taking a nap. I started out this morning with a headache and a throbbing finger. So I went to urgent care; the doctor there said I have an infection and gave me a script for antibiotics, told me to use some hydrogen peroxide on it and keep using neosporin and putting a band-aid on it.

After that, I came home for awhile and threw a load of wash in the washer and had lunch. Then I went to the dentist to pick up my biteguard. While there, I was told my dentist died ... He was 53, a White Sox and Chicago Bear fan ... we always had something to talk about before he started working on me. He was a big guy, kind of overweight, but I never thought he was out of shape. I guess he was sick right before Christmas, dehydrated ... they said he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Then he had a heart attack suddenly. Sad.

Anyway, I still feel lousy so I'm going to put down the computer and take a nap with Juliette. She wants to get on my lap. Have a good day.

So now you need a new dentist? Rats!

what if mouthguard doesn't fit, where do you go for adjustments? Just curious, none of my beeswax.

There's another dentist in the practice so I guess I'll use him.

Hello Eileen....sorry you are so miserable...I hope the headache and finger feels better soon!! You poor dear...you can't catch a break!!!

That is sad that your dentist died. He sure was young. I feel bad for his family. I have said a prayer for them. You will miss him.

Hope you and Juliette had a nice nap together.

I went with my cleaning fairy to pick up my new card table and four chairs. I got a good deal on them $35 for all of it. It is all brand new. I know the regular price is close to $60+ . I have been looking for one for a long time. We were going to stop and get groceries but I had one of my whatever you want to call them. I start shaking really bad, starts on the inside and then goes everywhere. I get light headed and have trouble walking. Then I have trouble speaking....I can't find the right words to say. She got me in my apartment and had me lay on the couch. It lasted about and hour and a half. Now I feel totally drained and am so sleepy. I will be going to sleep early!!

Have a good night....love and hugs to you....connie d

Hi Connie,

When I read your description of your episode while out, it made me remember when I was seriously hypoglycemic.  When my blood sugar plummets, that exact same thing happens.  I have to eat a protein, like cheese, a complex carb, like crackers, and some juice.  I always used V8.  I always carried a pack of cheese and crackers, and a small can of V8 in my purse.  When an episode would happen, I'd slowly cat the crackers, and finish the juice.  Slowly, I'd get my bearings.  Just wondering if you should keep something handy if it happens again.

Love you.
