Laid back Saturday

Good Evening Vickie, and OFF Family,

I woke up extremely late today.  I couldn't sleep with my sinus pain.  It's not congestion pain, it's the feeling that the lining of my sinuses are raw and sore, so the air touching them hurts.  I have some meds to help that, but it kept me up late.

So, I haven't accomplished a thing today.  Well, I went out and got my mail.  Which requires getting dressed, coz my mailbox is at the street.  Brr it's cold.  It's days like this I wish Trent were from Florida, or Arizona.  Colleen knew she would have to move to Trent's hometown when they got engaged.  Just wi**** weren't the frozen tundra.  But, I could either ***** moan and whine for the next two months, or accept, dress warm, and count my blessings.  Because, my situation could be much, much worse.

Judy, I'm sorry about your "Dad's" passing.  I believe he would be honored to have you make a memorial donation to the horse rescue in his name.  When Colleen's sis-in-law passed away, there were donation for her Baby Hunter's college fund requested.  Turns out in Michigan, parents can buy their children's college education at a state school at today's prices, even if the child is a baby.  Her parents paid for her education at Michigan State that way.  So, Toby has a college fund to help pay for Hunter's college education.  Not sure how much is in it, but I know it's pretty high.  However, if you don't know who the scholarship is for, then you're right not to contribute.

Connie, please guard your boundaries with Pam.  You need to take care of yourself.

Vickie, I keep you two in my prayers.  I would love the soup recipe, so I'll find it on Facebook.

Don't know if I mentioned, but Chris gave me a movie on iTunes the other day.  It's called "Chef."  It's a great movie, and I recommend it.  It has foul language, but it's clean as far as sex is concerned.  He told me it reminded him of working with my brother, Neil.  I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm watching the Baltimore/New England game, rooting for Baltimore.

Please pray for my Mom this weekend.  She went back to her house after staying at my sister's for two months, and turns out she has no power, and must wait to get the problem fixed till Tuesday.  Long story, but it'll cost her money.  She's staying at her friend, Sam's, house.  Eileen and I are concerned about her mental health right now, because she is disoriented, and severely depressed.

Must scoot.

Love,

Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Hi Trish.....I will be praying for your mother. How old is she? Maybe it is time for her to look at elderly apartments or assisted living homes. If she has mental health issues, being disoriented and serious depressing she should't be living alone. Just my opinion...I wouldn't want my mom living in her home if she was like that. So many harmful things can happen. I will continue to pray for her and you too!

Keep warm and enjoy your evening!!

Much love and many hugs to you.....connie d
