Happy Hump Day

it is COLD here!!!!! My car said 5* and the wind chill is even colder!!! I do not know what it is and I really don't WANT to know!!!! All I do know is I AM FREEZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Taking Bandit out for potty I am putting his sweater on him and two coats!!! He is STILL shivering!!!! He HATES getting coats/sweaters on and now he HATES going out in this cold!!!! I do not blame him at all!!!!
Took the truck in to see what is/was wrong with it and he found NOTHING wrong!! Checked a lot of things and all checked out fine!!! No charge. Not sure what Rick and Chase heard but the mechanic heard and saw nothing wrong.
Tomorrow the owner and his son will be here to change the cost of doing laundry. Yippeee. Can hardly wait for the grips from tenants on this. But I am looking forward to seeing the owner!!! Love this guy to death!!!
Just got a phone call from my mom...my cousin that I also call my dad (family joke) passed away. I never got a call that he was in the hospital at Christmas when we were home either...

Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. I see the dependable are still here and posting. I haven't been posting at all lately. My husband has been diagnosed and is on meds to try to slow Alzheimer/dementia. I am spending all my time taking him to doc appointments for a revision of a knee replacement done 6 years ago that never was right. The surgeon found out it had never healed into the tibia. We are doing PT 3X a week for that. Than we went to see eye doctor as a first stop after being diagnosed and had to have two laser surgeries for glaucoma and getting ready to have cataracts removed from both eyes. He is also scheduled to have carpel tunnel surgery on both wrist. After that we need to work on his hearing.
This is so hard. He was the man I could never get to a doctor and he was so mechanical and did so much. He is more depressed about not being able to care for his animals and having to depend on me. Not to mention he can no longer drive (he doesn't even know this yet.)
I hope everyone has a great year. I will check back in when every I can find a minute. I am wishing great health to all.

I can see why you weren't here. Oh My....you have gone and are still going through so much with your husband. You know I will keep him ...and you....in my prayers. I pray everything turns out great for him.
It is so hard to have to take things away from people with this illness. I am sure he will listen and hear why he can't drive. Getting that connected might take a bit. I gave up driving for health reasons last summer. Yes, at times I miss my car, but I also know I was deeply concerned about hurting someone else. My daughters are so glad I made that choice and they didn't have to do it for me. He will be fine.
Have a great year....although I do hope you will stop back in now and then.

hello sweet sistas. We are home again tonight. Long story but the biopsy is being postponed until next Monday and will be done as outpatient. I'll post and explain it all tomorrow. Right now I am just wiped out and already in bed. Thankful to be home again after a week of traveling. Love you all!
