Howdy on Tuesday

Vickie....not that again. If you have to have something it is better to have that then the flu. I know you still feel lousy! 

So happy to know Christie is finally coming around. I agree one more day at home is necessary. She is the mom and needs to be well!! I am still praying none of the rest of you get it!! 

Hope you had a good nap. I hope everyone lets you take care of yourself. I am sure they can function without you. 

I agree with Judy...try the pineapple....can't hurt anything.

Afternoon OFF family!!!

OMG another busy day for me...I am beat!!! LOL Had one tenant call and say he wanted to conme over and do his recert this afternoon but he was sick with the flu...OH HELL NO!!!!!!! I told him STAY HOME!!!!!!!!!!! He said OK...then he said he had a couple maintenance issues that needed done!!!!!! UMM are they emergency????? No...then my guys will NOT come over there now!!!!!!!!!! I am NOT taking a chance of them getting sick!!!!!!!! WTH is the matter with people???????? They are sick and yet they want us to be around them when they are sick?????!!!!!!!!!! HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then it was about an hour later this tenant gets in his truck and drives away!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! And I can bet you it was not to go to the dr!!!!!!!!!

Then there is Michael another tenant here...him and his girlfriend text ALL the time...while she is DRIVING, working, all the time!!!!!!!!! Well today she put her car in a ditch!!!!!!! Couple months ago it was she hit a deer!!!!!!! Keep texting dummy!!!!!!!!! I have told him to NOT text her so much and does he listen to me? NOPE. Live and learn. He is in his late 40's and she is early 20's. IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I give up. I do not care anymore......I am done.

Another tenant comes in wants me to do her recert at the drop of a hat today. This is her second notice she got today on her door. On it, it says to CALL Judy and make an APPOINTMENT. Nowhere does it say walk in and get it done on the spot. I told her I could do it at 2pm. No not a good time for her. She then said how about Friday? I am NOT in the office Friday. Monday at 10am I can do it. 10 am????? I guess I can be up that early. GOOD. see you at 10am!!!!!!! Then I walked out. LOL

Then I had a call from my new tenant that needed to get his electric turned on to move in tomorrow but he needed it in writing he was moving in and he doesn't sign his lease til tomorrow morning. Yes I can do that for him. Another stop in my day...

Boss calls...how much Kilz do the guys need? Not sure have to ask. OK. Does the apartment need new carpet? Have to check with Ric****heck and call me back. Called Rick he went to check on Kilz and carpet in the apartment. Calls me says NO heat in that apartment!!!!! WTH?????? I call electric company. Turned off non payment. Our fault? No tenants fault. Ummm she has been dead for months. Well family never took it out of her name. GREAT! So down to the electric co I go!!! Had to sign papers. Lucky for us there was a guy there that could come NOW and turn it back on for us!!! Temps going very cold tonight and that apt was already freezing inside!!!! THANKYOU!!!!!!!!!! That was so nice of them to turn it on so fast for us!!!

Called another tenants daughter to see if they would have all of her mothers tings out by tomorrow...moving her out. Can't live alone anymore. Yes they will. OK will have papers ready then.

Also today the squad comes blasting in...took my tenant out...hope he will be ok!!! He has me worried.

Also found out another tenant is in nursing home. Took her out while we were gone to Michigan. Sighs....she is a sweetheart. Hope she will be home again soon.

Am I boring you yet? LOL I will stop. You get what I go through daily. Well most days anyhow. FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!! To the funny farm!!! HAHAHAHHA

So that's about it for me. Working half a day tomorrow then off the rest of the week til Monday morning!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wanted to take a ride to see friends back in Willoughby but some are sick with that nasty flu so THAT is OUT!!!!!!!! SIGHS.......CRAP!!!

Judy...I am sorry but I just have to laugh at all the things happening to you every day. Those people are on the "Funny Farm"!!! Some happenings are serious but all together it is funny! Don't you feel like a juggler around there? They are so lucky to have you. As organized as you are you can change things around when you need to. You are such a great manager!!!

I am glad to know you only work a 1/2 day tomorrow and then off until Monday. Tell them to leave phone messages as you aren't answering. You will be monitoring what is a emergency!!

Connie I WILL NOT answer the phone at all UNLESS it IS an EMERGENCY and it better be a GOOD one!!!! Poor Chase has to work everyday except the 1st to get paid for the holiday. Different than last week...he got several days off WITH pay. I am also going to let HIM do the opening Friday. Why should I have to get up if he is going to be here to work?? I deserve to sleep in for a change!!! Lord knows I didn't get much sleep in Michigan!!! Rick had to be up LATE drinking and then HE got to sleep in!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRR So much for one room sleeping!!!! LOL Home I get my own bedroom...lol I go to bed and shut the door so I can sleep early and not be disturbed!!! He can stay up late as he wants!!! Works for me!!! I just can NOT sleep anymore with him having the tv on ALL night!!! Honeymoon is over I guess....sighs...but I get MY rest!!!

Yeah I am a juggler alright...LMAOOOOOOOOOO some days....hahaha Right now I am so dam tired I am not sure what I am doing!! Waiting for the clock to get to time to lock up and then I am going to bed and watch tv and fall asleep!!! Yes I wake up and shut it off!!! LOL

Good Eileen, and OFF Family,

Eileen, I sure hope you feel better soon.  It sucks to go to work sick.  I remember vividly how crummy that was.  I would usually tell my students in the morning to have mercy on me, because I had a bad headache, and they were usually pretty well behaved.  Even the terrors.

Connie, I'm glad you are avoiding the rest of the residents, by taking your meal back to your apartment.  That's wise.  My daughter and son got me using Airborne, which has all the stuff to help with resisting the crud.

My poor daughter still has sick kids.  Frankie has had a bad cough, and today he has a fever.  The older kids have coughs.  Found out that Trent's Uncle Dave was diagnosed with bronchitis the day after Christmas.  Of course, I was sitting next to him at the dinner table Thursday night.  So far, so good.  Colleen is at her wits end, and called me last night, around 7:00.  She asked me to run to 7-11 to get her a bottle of Cherry Coke.  Trent was still at work.  She said that the kids were whiny and clingy all day.  She told me, "I don't drink.  I don't overeat.  I need a Cherry Coke."  I bought her two, so she'd get her fix.  She doesn't have a weight problem, and she runs on her treadmill as often as possible.  She's done half marathons in good weather, as well as running with the kids when they're in races, to pace them.

I've taken it easy today.  Sinus and digestive issues.  Even before my gall bladder surgery, if I don't go #2 regularly, I get nauseous and get the dry heaves.  I take fiber, and still have problems.  

Well, must scoot.

Trish, the Allegra D is working its magic. I still don't feel all that well, but my sinuses are starting to drain. 

Try taking a stool softener along with the fiber. Fiber will bulk you up; stool softeners make it a little easier on the system to go. Especially if you're taking iron or any painkillers or stuff that makes you constipated (I know from experience). 

Thanks Eileen.  I'll do that.  I'm glad you got the AllegraD, and that it's working.  If I fail to take it, the 12 hour also, as soon as the 12 hours is up, my eyes water and my sinuses start to ache.
