SUNDAY WHAT'S HAPPENING?????????
Good Evening Judy, and Friends/Family,
Judy, I'm so glad you had a good Christmas. Your son sounds like my older son. One year, as a Christmas present, he bought me plane tickets to join him in Florida, to see the Phillies Spring Training. We stayed at a Residence Inn, so we each had our own bedroom. Another summer, he took me to Cooperstown to the baseball Hall of Fame. Again, he got a suite at a Residence Inn. He's been great. I'm glad you have you son back in your life.
Jeannie, I'm praying for your recovery. I've only had one knee surgery. A torn miniscus. I worked hard on the PT, because my surgery was six weeks before school, and my classroom was on the third floor of an old building with no elevator. While I taught, I'd sit on a desk and did knee bends. With your determination you will definitely make your trip. Blessings.
Connie, I'm glad you're making today a day of rest. I rarely do that, unless I'm sick. I did three loads of laundry yesterday. I haven't gotten it all put away yet.
Cindy, my dog can, and does, eat just about anything. The only thing I can't give him is pasta with red sauce. I used to be able to give him a tiny bit, if it was leftover. Once he threw up on my carpet, I put an end to that. My sis-in-law's dog can't have anything but dog food and certain treats.
I had a good day at church. Attendance was extremely low. One baby, and three toddlers. After the service, there was only one toddler for Sunday School. All the rest went home. As soon as I got home, Chris texted me his NFL Sunday Ticket login info, so I could watch the Eagles game. They are out of the playoffs, coz they lost last week, but I still wanted to see the game. He was able to watch it, since they were playing the Giants in New York.
Today is Colleen and Trent's 13th anniversary. She was so excited, because they had plans to spend the day without the kids. BUT, all three kids were sick all night, and she stayed home with them. The kids were supposed to spend the day at Trent's brother's. I was told she was crying when she called his wife to cancel. She doesn't do well with sleep deprivation. Plus, it is extremely rare when they get to celebrate alone. Every other year, they're usually traveling home from Pennsylvania.
I had a sinus migraine earlier, but I think I caught it early enough. We'll see.
Prayers, hugs and love,
Trish

Glad you have a generous son also!!! Mine sure makes me happy!!!
Sorry that your daughter missed out on her special plans today!!! But being a mother takes first place.
Glad you caught your headache soon enough!!! Those can be murder!!!
HUGSSSSSSSSS
Hi Trish....I have been pretty relaxed most all the day. I did things like filling my med containers, stocking up things in my bathroom, nothing much. I watched movies but never did get to read except for the Sunday paper.
Happy Anniversary to Colleen and Trent!! I know it is hard to do things when you have sick children. Not to mention that Colleen was probably up last night with them. They can work out another day when the kids feel better.
I hope your migraine is better....I know you get them so bad.
I am heading to bed soon. I have somethings to do tomorrow and I want to be rested.
Have a great night....love and hugs to you...connie d
