OH OK...used to take turpenhydrate with codeine in that for coughs...not sure they even have that anymore...oh well...I will stick with my NYQUIL at night...never tried the daytime...

Welcome back Trish!!! I knew you were having computer issues so I wasn't worried about you but you were missed!!!

Glad you finally got that figured out. It was great that Sean could help get it corrected. That had to have been very stressful for both of you.

As for me...same old same old!! Nothing new happening around here!! I need to run to Shopko (like Walmart) and get something for my cleaning fairy for Christmas. It won't be much just something to thank her. The same for the lady that does my hair.

Still praying that Butch is feeling better today. Also more prayers for Judy and her mother. I hope they are both feeling better too!!

All of our OFF family MIA....please just pop in with a quick post so we know everything is okay. We miss you!!!

Oh, Trish, I'm so glad you were able to get back on-line.  You have been missed!  I bought Carrie (oldest daughter) a Kitchen-Aid mixer for her Christmas present this year.  Yes, it's more than I usually spend, too, but there's no point in buying anything but the best when it comes to stand mixers.  It's a gift that lasts an entire lifetime.  Just FYI--I got Carrie's at Amazon, 5 Qt. Silver for $259.99.

So, having a rough morning around here.  Butch is better, thank God and thank all of you for your prayers.  He had a really hard day yesterday, and he ran fever in varying degrees all day long, but he's better today.  He's out of bed and in his recliner this morning.

I, on the other hand, feel like total crap today.  I'm not sure if I'm sick or if it's just allergies.  My head and ears are stopped up and I sound like a croaking frog.  Whatever this is has settled in my chest.  #allaboutthebass  LOL!

Christie came out after work last night to check on us and she offered to spend the night so I could rest, but I told her no.  For one thing, she had to be to work at 9 a.m. this morning.  And for another, I'm having to help Butch up and down off the potty right now and other things that I don't think a daughter ought to have to do for her father unless there's no other choice.  So I was up about 4 times again last night.  It's okay.  I don't have to go anywhere or do anything specific today.  I can spend the day in my jammies if I want to.  

I have totally succumbed to the stress of the situation and I'm eating sweets non-stop these days.  I know it is wrong.  I know I am doing a bad thing to myself, but I just don't seem to be able to stop.  That stupid little voice in my head keeps telling me that "I deserve this": ice cream, candy, cookies, etc.  It's awful.  When I talk back to that voice, then it tells me "I will stop after Christmas."  Oh, yeah, right.  I've heard that one before.  In the meantime, I just keep eating.  Sigh.

I would list all the things I still need to do today, but I think it will just depress me, so I won't itemize them.  I do plan to try very hard to finish up Benny's stocking.  Poor little guy.  Chris told me last night that he is getting very anxious about it.  I'll bet!  He's only 4.  He doesn't understand why Mimi and Mommy don't fini**** and get it hung up on the mantel.  So that will be my main goal for today.

I did get those treats made for Budder's party yesterday and Chris took them with her last night.  Only I forgot to take a picture.  Oh well.

I need to go check on Butch and then I'm going to lie down again for awhile.  My head feels like a separate entity from the rest of my body.  I wish I could just take it off and set it aside until it is well again.  I know--I'm not making much sense today.  Talking voices in my head, removing my head--there seems to be a theme here.  Ugh.

Oh no Vickie....you can't be getting sick!!! I hope you are taking meds for it. I am praying it is gone soon! Butch really did have a time after this chemo. Bless his heart.I am glad he is at least up in the recliner today. more prayers for him too!!

Carrie will be so excited over her mixer!! What a wonderful gift!!

It was sweet of Christie to volunteer to stay the night. Like you said some things are hard enough for a husband to want a wife to do...much less a daughter. 

Try not to think about your list. One thing at a time as you have energy to do. Stocking is #1 for sweet little Benny!!!

As for sweets and junk...I am really bad this year. I have way to much junk around here. I am nibbling all the time!! I am round as a pumpkin...well not quite but it sure feels like it. I HAVE TO QUIT THIS AFTER THE HOLIDAYS!!!! UGH!!!!!

Evening OFF family....OMG I have been busy today!!!! I have a new tenant moved in...YIPPPEEE!!!!! Got word that Satan is moving out!!!!!!! Can't wait for that to happen!!!!

Anyhow been taking double doses of NYQUIL and I am feeling much better today!!! I even went to the dentist for my filling!!!!

Need to get my laundry done yet...guess that will happen AFTER HOURS!!!!!!!!!! Seeing as we are now down to two washers!!! Two are full of money and are stuck!!! Boss comes Monday to empty them out!!!

Still have to go clean the other club house for a party tomorrow. Hope they clean it good after they are done or there will NEVER be another party again before our tenant party ever again!!! Last year there was one and they made a mess and omg so many things wrong in there....just a nightmare!!!

So need to get going and hel***** over there...

I am so happy to hear you are feeling better!!! How can you take a double dose of NYQUIL? I wouldn't wake up for days!!

Now if we can get Vickie and Eileen to feel better that would be nice!! I hate to even admit it but my throat is feeling a little sore tonight.  Having a few chills too. I am sitting here in my big fluffy robe and warmest slippers. I am trying to ignore it!! I will take something before I go to bed....just in case. 

That party was left in a mess. I remember it was a nightmare!!! I hope it is spotless this time!!

okay sistas, I spent the entire day in bed. I guess I'm feeling better although I had so much I needed to do today. Butch is doing better too.  at least he says he is.
